S&M was released as the third single from hit album Loud. The song was porduced by StarGate and Sandy Vee. The overly sexual lyrics led to criticism from critics and the sexual video led to bans on TV stations worldwide, as well as an 18+ restriction on Youtube.

 

The remix was released and went straight to the higherregins of the chart, leading to Rihanna's 10th and Brit's 5th #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
