Thrilled Insatiable managed to perform better than the awful Promise This finally :kink:

Shame it didn't do it where it matters most :P

Never liked Insatiable such a bland single, not fussed on Lucky Day either

Insatiable is so overrated for being the only one Nadine single  It's such a random song!

Happy for Nicola, I love both tracks so yay! Cheryl better be crown queen though.

My predictions for top 3:

1. Beat Of My Drum

2. Call My Name

3. Fight For This Love

Ideally I'd like 'Call My Name' to win but as long as it isn't the hugely overrated 'Fight For This Love' I'll be happy!

Just caught up with this - 'Fight For This Love' for the win!

'Call My Name' is rather average and lazy lyrically (Although well-produced and catchy), however I think 'Beat of My Drum' is by FAR the best song Nicola released, so I'd be happy with that coming 2nd!

3 8.20 Call My Name

Cheryl

Highest score: 11 (Jay, AdamAloud, Liam, JosephStyles)

Lowest score: 2 (Regina, 152chris)

So Cheryl's 2012 "comeback" single Call My Name manages third place here. It seems to get mostly love on the forum which is fantastic, it's a brilliant track and it's held up a lot in my affections over the year. It managed to get to #1 on sales of over 150k in 2012, making it one of the fastest selling singles of the year. The video is also very good, perfect for the track IMO.

Highest score: 11 (Jay, AdamAloud, Liam, JosephStyles)

Liam you must be thrilled to be with such excellent company with exquisite taste.

Well now 'Beat Of My Drum' simply MUST be the winner.

2 9.13 Beat of My Drum

Nicola Roberts

Highest score: 11 (jsilv, Niall Minogue, 152chris)

Lowest score: 7 (Jade, Joe, Ultraviolence)

So being pipped to the post despite winning the Solo Buzzchart a few months ago, Beat of My Drum manages to 'only' make 2nd place here. The song took a little while to hit me but when it did, it hit me big time and was one of my favourite tracks of 2011 (prefer Lucky Day though). The song achieved only a peak of #27 due to OA/OS screwing up any airplay it may have otherwise gotten.

1 9.22 Fight For This Love

Cheryl Cole

Highest score: 11 (Jay, Liam, JosephStyles, mr_aly, Niall Minogue, Jade, Ultraviolence, Ryan)

Lowest score: 7 (AdamAloud, Aled, Rabbit Heart, 152chris)

And that makes Cheryl's debut single the winner! Fight For This Love entered right at #1, selling over 200k in its first week (instantly outselling many GA tracks ). The track is now a million seller and is quite easily the biggest selling Girls Aloud related track. I'm very glad this won, would have preferred Call My Name if I had to pick but this isn't far behind that in my affections at all

1 9.22 Fight For This Love

2 9.13 Beat of My Drum

3 8.20 Call My Name

4 8.11 Lucky Day

5 8.09 Insatiable

6 8.04 Parachute

7 7.52 Promise This

8 7.33 Yo-Yo

9 7.17 Under the Sun

10 6.26 Heartbreaker (will.i.am feat. Cheryl Cole)

11 6.16 Sweetest High

12 6.07 The Flood

13 5.89 3 Words (feat. will.i.am)

14 5.76 Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah)

15 5.04 Like U Like (Aggro Santos feat. Kimberley Walsh)

16 4.76 The Road (Alistair Griffin feat. Kimberley Walsh)

17 4.28 One Day I'll Fly Away

18 1.82 One Vision (Alfie Boe & Kimberley Walsh)

I suppose everything about the song and the release is iconic so it's a very worthy winner. Not my favourite single of hers by a long shot though. :kink:

Thank you for doing this Mrs Coyle *.*

Great winner! Would have preferred 'Call My Name' but what can you do. :kink:

It's 5 years old already. :o

'Fight For This Love' will forever be classic to me, so many memories of late 2009/early 2010. It's an anthem, it has cheap sounding production like 99% of her output but in this that works as a charm for me.

Nicola having all her singles in the top 10

She is without a doubt my fave member of GA and I need a new album soon :(

Well deserved winner, Fight For This Love is still and will always be Cheryl's best ever solo song. Although the radio killed it by overplaying it to death, but now I have fallen in love with it again. Call My Name which is definately Cheryl's 2nd best effort, again pure perfection. Nicola's Beat Of My Drum, again such brilliance and deserved so much better, it would have been top 3 in my chart. Hope Nicola gets a second album.

Yay my ideal outcome then of the options left in the top 3!

'Fight For This Love' is brilliant, already a modern classic, the outfit too!
