80. Kid Ink - Body Language (feat. Usher & Tinashe)

Is this Tinashe's first top 100 on ITunes? I assume 2 On didn't get there as it had little radio support, so had no chance of selling much.

The song isn't produced by who you'd expect given how it sounds, it's actually produced by Stargate apparently .

I seem to remember 2 On getting to somewhere in the 60s or 70s on its first day, by sheer fanbase I guess.

Blame increase the lead from 14 to 18 over the night/morning... maybe they can do it? It will be close... We are on Wednesday already and it's doing very good on streaming... I'm hoping :)

Duke back up to number 10

Ten Walls down to 5 :( but Chris Browns down at 9 :)

Not heard it yet but Fall Out Boy are at 4

Surprised no one has mentioned U2 releasing their album on iTunes.

All tracks are supposedly free and should automatically appear on one's music library, yet I'm having trouble finding this

They have, just have posted it outside the chart forum, (see indie, rock forum or the U2 sub forum)

Yes at Iron Sky back to 28, should make it this week now.

Yeah I just noticed this too

Very bizarre for them to release it for free until mid-October but of you're a fan then I guess it's a good thing

Stargate?! This sounds more like a Mustard production! Then again, Black Widow didn't sound like Stargate to me at first ("What's My Name?" remains the ~signature~ Stargate sound for me), I'm liking this song anyway!

Yeah, that's what I meant. It sounds like DJ Mustard, and you'd expect it to be since Tinashe and Kid Ink's hit singles were produced by him, but it's not. So now it's The Invisible Men, will.i.am and Stargate who've copied his style.

Stargate have a couple of signature sounds imo. They have all the mid-tempo R&B songs from the late 00's like Hate That I Love You, With You, Irreplaceable, Sexy Love, So Sick, Unfaithful, Take a Bow, etc.

Then they have the electronic R&B/hip hop songs from the early 10's like Black and Yellow, Talk That Talk, Till I'm Gone, What's My Name?, I'm Into You, R.I.P., Rude Boy, Lose Control (and now Body Language and Black Widow).

Iron Sky teased us last week getting as high at 22-25 and missed out!

Perhaps spoke a bit too soon about 'Centuries' not matching the success of 'My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)' :magic: At least in terms of initial iTunes performance anyway, it almost certainly won't go top 5 or even top 10 officially (maybe on the sales-only chart but even there I could see the midweek release meaning it ends up at ~#12).

'Walking With Elephants' now down to #7. I hope it manages to hold up a bit better fairly soon, though as long as it doesn't somehow miss the top 10 this week I'll be happy. I think it still could make the top 5 as it has a decent sales lead over #6 and is still outselling Chris Brown and probably 5SOS.

Kid Ink/Usher/Tinashe  to #65! Not heard this song yet but I really hope it can somehow make the top 100 officially, it's criminal that '2 On' never managed it (not sure if they just never bothered pushing it or if radio completely ignored it, either way an injustice, still one of my favourite songs of the year). And yes this is one of those rare occasions where I fit the BuzzJack stereotype of only caring for a featured female artist.

40. Train - Angel In Blue Jeans

This has held up rather well given that there have been quite a few new tracks overtake it over the past few days. It will probably miss out on the Top 40 this week, but the albums out next week, which could help it.

Interesting to see last night Damien Rice had a new instant grat (the first one) from his next album which could chart in the top 100!

Yeah I think Train will finish top 50 at this rate which despite most definitely missing top 40 is frustrating is still a fairly decent result. That said I'm struggling to get into this one, maybe because they've ditched the same old HSS, DB type songs they usually return with.

You're copying in John Newman? I don't think he's a member of buzzjack.
