the new Pro Green song is inoffensive (i do quite like the chorus at least) although it feels quite dated to me, like something that belongs back in 2010 ;o (when songs of this style were more prominent in the chart). i'm probably alone in slightly preferring the Miles Kane collab actually

I quite liked the Miles Kane track too, shame it bombed in the charts....

I know Lullaby is pretty much a carbon copy of Read All About It but I still think its a great track and anyway Pro Green needs a top 10, will be his first for a while and only his 4th overall!

These next 2 months are going to very competitive for number 1 with One Direction,Olly Murs,Avicci and possibly Rihanna,Take That (when is Emeli Sande releasing?)and others??? releasing first singles from their new albums, along with new singles from Taylor Swift and Rita Ora etc

Which in one way is exactly what we want to see! Not been enough competitive weeks this year...

Professor Green's song was always on YouTube as a skippable advert before almost every YouTube clip I watched last week. Last Friday in particular was really bad, thank goodness for "skip ad". The chorus is not bad though.

This is the funniest comment on the song's youtube comments:

Professor Green hasn't made an original-sounding hit in his life. He's gone from novelty dance-pop covers of 80s song, to 'Love The Way You Lie' rip-offs with Read All About It, to the point where he's now ripping off his own songs from three years ago.

...but I can't hate it because, as mentioned, it sounds so 2010 it gives me a weird sense of early-20s nostalgia just listening to it.

33. Fix You - Coldplay

Thank you X Factor  Hopefully another top 100 week for this.

I think Jungle is quite original-sounding (by chart music standards).

Now here's an X Factor boost I appreciate!

82. One Direction - Steal My Girl [pre-order]

top 10 later today? (if 5SOS could be thereabouts, i'm sure 1D would get at least a bit higher) judging by the release dates, One Direction vs. The Vamps for #1 that week? :drama:* I'm sure Joseph will have a bit of a dilemma on his hands~

* (not that it matters, since Bullit will clearly STORM to #1 over them both *o*)

What is the point of this? as if there isn't enough $hit flooding the charts atm :drama:

Do you know when *Avicii is releasing his new single? I haven't heard anything about it

Dear god, do we need this really?!?!?! Well least we know who'll be number one that week....:nocheer:

As long as Bullit goes top 10 that's all I care about!

YES! Exactly this! I guess I've always had a soft spot for Pro Green, he's definitely a guilty pleasure for me, so even though this is nowhere near his best output, I'm happy that it's on course to give him another Top 10 single :)

'Remedy' was quite original-sounding too.

No you're not alone. I find this new one very boring atm.
