I will say this, although this is new and fresh right now, I don't exactly see this going on to be a career defining single for them. (Not that it has to be). It's a great little pop song but it's definitely not a distinctive one. I think it'll be a "here and now" song, enjoyable for the time being but not a long lasting love. We shall see!

It's nice.

It's nothing special and their fanbase alone will get it tip 10 but it's such a step down from previous material, low sales should help it get top 5 but it will drop 'faster than the speed of light' crazy how i miss you, i'm hurting deep inside .

Lovely little pop song, but it does feel like a step backwards after the last album, and that this will be the beginning of their decline. Perhaps. Pure pop could always use another flagbearer, but I doubt it'll be this for very long. I'm not getting very excited about this while I was after Move hit me.

Finally listened to this in full, it is a fantastic pop song. I still stick by my initial opinion that it seems they've got back to a more 'DNA' type sound, but with a bit of a twist but that's no problem when the song is as good as this.

However, it doesn't scream #1 hit to me but top 5 should be certain considering they've already got Capital on board for the radio premiere tomorrow.

I think "regression" is the wrong word to use for this. It's definitely more 'DNA'-pop than 'Salute'-pop, but I'd definitely say it's a step forward and more of a progession in the pop sound that they used for the first era. As I've said before, it'd have been nice to have seen them stick to the less predictable sound of the 2nd album, but if this is the standard of pop that they're going to give us (and I'm sure this is just to help them breakthrough even more in the US) then I'm all for it  It reminds me of 'Want U Back' by Cher Lloyd!

I swear people said the exact same about 'Move', and it stuck around for 12 weeks. Their longevity has always been pretty impressive, especially compared to the likes of The Vamps/The Saturdays/Neon Jungle etc.

It's a definite regression. 'Salute' was so much more mature and I was loving the new DC sound. But this is just pop trash. Very very disappointed.

I still can't at the cover tho

They all look so tragic... Even Jade can't save it </3

On VEVO now for those in need of an easier listen. I literally can't shift this from my head, so so infectious

Does this remind anyone else of 'Want You To Want Me' by Jason Derulo?

It is a good pop song but so far from what I want from them. If this had been the lead for the second album I would have been all over it but I feel like their second album showed the massive potential they had in the R&B route and therefore I can't help but find this massively disappointing. I am sure I will really enjoy it in a very much flash in the pan hit way, but can't see it helping them gain a lasting career or any band identity.

Yes! It's like Want You To Want Me meets Stereo Soldier.

The single is 34 on the iTunes single chart on pre-orders alone. I'd have said that's a good sign?

Now in the top 30, at #30! (I'll probably do a couple of updates - I want to see where this peaks on pre-orders!)
#26 now! Higher than both 'Move' and 'Wings' got I believe. :D I hope they add it to Spotify soon, so they can gain a bit of traction on streaming before release.

Sales are lower right now than they were at the times 'Wings' & 'Move' were put up for pre-order, weren't they? So I think all in all they've balanced out! I'm really hoping this can be massive for them. Quality pop <3

Bit early maybe but...

01. Move

02. Black Magic

03. Salute

04. Wings

05. DNA

06. Word Up

07. Change Your Life

08. How Ya Doin?

1. Black Magic 10/10

2. Move 8/10

3. Salute 7/10

4. DNA 7/10

5. Change Your Life 7/10

6. Wings 6.5/10

7. Little Me 6.5/10

8. How Ya Doin'? 5/10

9. Word Up 4/10

10. Cannonball 3/10

This chorus is SO good. I've always really liked Little Mix but I wasn't expecting much since all their hype seemed to be gone; I was wrong. I think this is a lot better than this year's pure pop hits (LMLYD, IRLY, WTWM) so I hope it can go top 3 at least.

1. Move

2. DNA

3. Black Magic

4. Wings

5. Salute

6. Cannonball (the only one of the last 4 XF winner's singles I like)

7. Little Me

8. Word Up!

9. How Ya Doin'?

10. Change Your Life
