Me too, I cannot stand The Vamps! This is such a poor cover but sadly it will end up top 5 as they do have a huge fanbase :drama:

I know each of their songs keep hovering around 30-50 on itunes then the held back version featuring someone random propels it into the top 10 for 1 random week which makes its chart run look alot better than it should.

 

Taylor Swift is over in the live lounge this Thursday so i assume shes promoing Shake it Off here - hope shes on Graham Norton/Alan Carr - could help the single even more!

Oh no, I thought it was 2 weeks! Capital and Kiss keep playing Boom Clap, which isn't a great help.

 

In general, though, even though it's wonderfully produced, it really isn't her best effort. I think the lyrics 'getting high and getting wrecked' are really childish and off-putting. I do want this to be a hit though, because I love XCX and want her whole album campaign to be fully supported.

Capital have started to actually play Anaconda now. Hopefully that'll stop it from plummeting too quickly.

It's definitely an odd move for a song that's not had such a massive impact. Pretty sure it's only been on Spotify 5 or 6 days but I only stumbled on it by chance so I doubt that's even had much of an impact either.
