October 24, 201410 yr Nobody took my entry (thank god)! Now it just needs to pass the veto framework and the very vague 12-point category, "the song has recieved substantial internet exposure", but considering the highest it ever got on Hype Machine was, like, #9 so I think I'm safe.

It's so disgustingly underhand and cheap. Do you have no standards? October 24, 201410 yr ?? Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not Jake :0 If not, then why post the new music on the forum in the first place if you're so protective over it? Surely the reason is for people to hear, enjoy and share it? If not then what's the reason... No one has to pm you to ask permission to use a song that you have discussed on the forum and who's to say said person didn't find it before you but didn't feel the need to make a thread?
October 24, 201410 yr In all seriousness, posting a thread on it doesn't mean you automatically own the song and people have to ask you first. As Bal said, don't post it if you don't want other people to make discoveries from it and then potentially send it here. Fair enough if someone stole the entry despite *knowing* you were planning to send it, but evidently that didn't happen and it was a simple clash. I don't bother posting threads for my BJSC potentials purely for this reason. Quite reluctant to even link to them in my chart.
