October 25, 201410 yr I saw the 750k prediction from a few weeks ago has recently been increased to between 800k and 900k. I'm thinking it will be around 750k which will still be incredible in today's album sales climate.
October 25, 201410 yr Author She's only had 3 promo singles whereas 'Red' had five. And this is a pure pop album, no country.
October 25, 201410 yr I'd be very surprised if she didn't scrape a million? I realise the country fanbase isn't really there but still.
October 25, 201410 yr I think it will sell between 600-650 k which is amazing in the current sales climate
October 25, 201410 yr I am surprised by how pessimistic predictions are. Red was inches away from beating Britney's record and was pretty pop, so I really can't see her sales cutting almost in half.
October 26, 201410 yr Definitely somewhere between 950k-1.05mil Edited October 26, 201410 yr by Addy K!ng
October 26, 201410 yr I would be surprised if it's any less than 900k and another million opening is very likely I'd have thought. 'Shake It Off' has been absolutely massive.
October 26, 201410 yr 900k-1 mil. In a perfect world, this would be in between Red's opening sales and Speak now's. Album sales climate be damned, Swifties don't play around. Edited October 26, 201410 yr by #Slayberry
October 26, 201410 yr 750-800k. Knock off bad sales climate and the fact that her old country fanbase has been narrowed down
October 26, 201410 yr I think it's hard to measure. The amount of buzz for both is/was so high that it's really difficult to differentiate. Red may have had more but I've still seen huge interest in basically everything she's done with this album so far.
