Streaming will probably limit the impact of the Halloween effect this year but 'Thriller' should hopefully still manage another top 100 re-entry and 'Ghostbusters'/'Monster Mash' could still make the sales top 100.

Yeah, if streaming will help Christmas songs then it'll probably help Halloween ones too.

There aren't any Halloween tracks in the Spotify top 100 though (as far as I'm aware).

It would be too concentrated to tonight to have THAT much of an effect I would have thought. Every non-Halloween song has a six day streaming advantage.

Indeed, Christmas songs are played throughout December but I doubt many people listen to/stream Halloween songs outside of 31 Oct.

We've entered November now and Rihanna still hasn't had her annual UK #1. Time is running out RiRi...................
