Streaming will probably limit the impact of the Halloween effect this year but 'Thriller' should hopefully still manage another top 100 re-entry and 'Ghostbusters'/'Monster Mash' could still make the sales top 100.

Really? I'd have thought it would vastly improve it! What with people creating Halloween playlists for parties and such.

There aren't any Halloween tracks in the Spotify top 100 though (as far as I'm aware).
It would be too concentrated to tonight to have THAT much of an effect I would have thought. Every non-Halloween song has a six day streaming advantage.

Indeed, Christmas songs are played throughout December but I doubt many people listen to/stream Halloween songs outside of 31 Oct.

7 The 1975 - Medicine

Their next album is going to be MASSIVE. Happy for them!

Sia performed 'Chandelier' on Graham Norton tonight. It's currently at #67 and #224. Seems the chances of another single are looking slim. :(

75. Nicki Minaj - Only (feat. Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown)

As usual delaying the release for too long, and it ends up with only one full sales day in the UK! :drama:

Now #37, #71 and #722. At least it should get a couple more weeks Top 40 now, not to say its longevity hasn't already been great.

It was only delayed a few days? Plus it's not like the song is likely to be a hit anyway.

The album has climbed to #10 on iTunes which is up over 100 places. I wonder when Sia will bother to release another single from her album?

34. Sia - Chandelier

65. Sia - Chandelier

673. Sia - Chandelier

1. Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

2. Foo Fighters - Congregation

It was bound to happen, but was nice while it lasted.

Ugh at Sia - is there nothing else on the album which has hit-potential?

3. Foo Fighters- Congregation

This is another instant grat which means it's ineligible to chart isn't it?

10. The 1975- Medicine

Is this eligible to chart?

Xmas:

368. Mariah Carey- All I Want For Christmas Is You

973. The Pogues ft Kirsty MacColl- Fairytale of New York
