This is like what the week after Xmas charts used to be like. A few big falls (back then it was the Xmas related singles falling) with everything else inching up a few places. Dull dull dull...

I feel that (along with Streaming slowing things down) there's a real lack of new releases on the horizon to push them all down, I guess more will come around Christmas, but Q4 does always seem to be a busy period for the singles chart, but it doesn't seem so now.

I'm Not the Only One back in the top 10? This really has been a slow week. And next week will be the same.

still far preferable to 1D so yay for it knocking that out at least

Angel grabbing that iconic No.9 again is the stuff chart geeks dreams are made of *.*

The album release schedule looks really packed and interesting but I'm not sure what's happened to Q4 single releases, it's as if everybody's so scared that they'll sink under the radar against the supposed competition that actually nobody's bothered releasing anything.

And the singles from usually reliably big artists that are due in the next month or so are all pretty lacklustre compared to previous material :(

Antenna and The World ruining that wonderful multiples of 3/repeated positions pattern :(

I feel like 'how many top ten hits did Fuse ODG have' could make a decent future pub quiz question. How on earth has he managed to rack up four (and counting)? Especially considering he's on All Around The World offshoot 3Beat (notorious for wrecking careers after one big hit).

The comparison to Sean Paul is really quite apt, he was a bit of a gimmick but managed to translate that into several top 10 hits in 2003 and a continuing chart presence for over a decade afterwards. Not sure the latter will happen for Fuse but we'll see!

After that awful TINA Changing is fantastic!

Yes Fuse!!!! :yahoo:

3Beat aren't actually that bad, a lot of their acts are well regarded like Sigma, Skepta, Sway and Stylo G. They do manage to get almost all their releases onto R1 too.

Fuse ODG's success is so refreshing, his music is an antidote to the stale charts.
