It's at 42. But it's to be expected. It's an instant grat with no airplay. It did in credibly well to peak at #24. The album is still top 20, too after peaking at #12 two days ago. Things are looking pretty good for Marina at this early stage.

^ interested to see how the new releases perform next week. 'Wrapped Up' still being rather low seems odd as i think it could still chart the highest from those (mostly down to X factor tho). Clean Bandit & Guetta are obviously shoo-ins for the top 5, and Rixton for top 10 (and perhaps Wretch won't be too far away from it either :o). lol @ Fireball's messé release though, i'm sure it won't do too badly anyway but i kinda expected that song to be bigger initially

Are Rixton going to be top 10? I didn't think it had done a lot on pre-orders; 1 month ago it wasn't in the top 1500 and 2 weeks ago it was only #523. That seems like top 20 at best to me.

I think this will miss the top 20, and deservedly so.

 

On a seperate note, Charli XCX - Break The Rules is back in the top 100 and climbing. :o It had fallen out of the top 200 by the weekend, coming for that revival to become a deserved hit? :o

It's had a pretty good amount of airplay tho. idk, I just see it doing considerably better than the pre-orders suggest (nothing major though, probably just a #8 peak or something with a fairly short run)

Ideally we'd be looking at potentially 5/6 new entries to the top 10 next week (similar to WE 19/10 last year). I'm just glad Pitbull's track looks like it'll flop as it's terrible.

Nice to see Uptown Funk in there, such a catchy song! Heard its out in January, one the first Number Ones of 2015 surely??

 

This week and seemingly next week looks like injecting some freshness to the top of the chart which is very good to see.

 

Pitbull premiered a new song today with Ne-Yo that sounds lifted out of 2011/12 :lol: Hopefully it won't end up a hit.
