Pretty much in agreement with this! The video has truly made the song come to life.

 

'Out Of The Woods' is better than both though IMO.

For comparison this week last year was the first Xmas top 100 entry (Mariah just barely scraping in at #98). The following week Mariah climbed to #68 and The Pogues entered at #85. Looks like the Xmas songs are doing pretty similarly on the whole this year then, I could see Mariah just scraping in again this week (at least on sales) and The Pogues joining her next week.

In the beginning it was looking like a Guetta vs Olly Murs battle, but obviously now we're closer to the release date other factors have been entered into the equation.

I am glad that Dangerous looks set to be a big hit though as it is much better than Lovers on the Sun so deserves to at least outsell it if it can't outpeak it.

Cheryl will be performing the track "Only human" tonight so it will be interesting to see how it does on iTunes !

That said, I wasn't keen on Let It Be at first but eventually grew to it :)
