Basically all there is to say in this is the thread's title again, which song got you into the Sugababes?

Was there a certain song that made you want to hear more and buy an album?

Was it due to having an interest in one of the members?

Alternatively was there a song or a member that turned you off wanting to hear more from them?

I first heard In the Middle, but went and bought AWDF instead
I really remember loving at the time was Push The Button! It ignited my interest in them for sure. I still remember the first time I heard Hole In The Head though and I would have only been six

For me it was 'Stronger' mainly due to loving the song and having a phase in my 'straight days' for fancying Heidi she looks so good in that video  Back when I would have been 11/12

1. "Stronger" was the first song, which I loved from Sugababes girls. It's really unique situation, because it was their 7th single (or 3rd if don't count pre-Heidi era).

All my another all-time favourites started with # 1 single in my charts. "Stronger" had 6 weeks on the top (include Christmas) and was "Song Of The Year" in 2002.

2. No, 2002-2003 years were not good for fans of legal music in Russia, cassettes were near to death and CD format wasn't popular.

"Taller In More Ways" was the first Sugababes album in my collection. I bought "Angels" and "Three" only after "Sweet 7" release for filling the gaps in my CDs collection.

3. Heidi is my first-look love.

4. I dislike Keisha and hate Mutya, so was happy when they left group. 4.0 line-up forever. :cheer:

'Round Round' made me fall in love! I still think it's their best single (well not really still, but again). I love the song structure and the middle 8 which totally disrupts the flow of the song but is so awesome. And fact that the song starts with 1.5 chorus is so weird, I like how the chorus loops so smoothly.

'Freak Like Me' was the first Sugababes song I ever heard (even remember seeing it on TOTP with an act involving three men and them dancing around chairs) but I used to hate it at the time :o Let us not speak of this ever again.

How :o

Round Round was also the gateway drug for me. Somehow Freak completely passed me by! AWDF is the first album that I got and Mutya has been my favourite from the outset. Still adore RR and it will always hold a special place in my heart because of that.

Did One Touch by pass you as well Silas  it definitely did me.
'Hole In The Head' was the first Sugababes single I bought, I remember getting both CDs on offer at WHSmith  so that's when I first got into the band. Then my love for them stepped up further with 'About A Girl' due to me knowing Jade before-hand of course.

Yup! Thought that Three was a strange name for a second album until Taller was released!!

my friend gave me old video cassette and i saw ''Shape'', when i first heard it i really liked, i only quickly noticed name '' Sugababes'' butterflies and Heidi. She was my first crush, first love and Mutya too but not keisha really :smoke:

Yeah Round Round got me into them properly but I did acknowledge how big Freak was at the time but it didn't succumb me into taking notice of them. RR & HITH though would be their first major songs I loved though.

I remember hearing Overload (I would have been nine) on the radio in the car and quite liking it but everything passed me by until I saw them perform Round Round on CD:UK I think and yeah, hooked ever since.
My first memory is seeing the Run For Cover video on tv but at that point I didn't realise who they were. I thought the video was really cool. Then I loved Round Round and remember my sister really loving Shape so I heard that a lot. I then remember enjoying all of the Three singles but still I wouldn't say I was a fan. Push the Button and Ugly came along and I hated both of them and they're still 2 of my least favourites. Then Red Dress was released and then I became a huge fan, remember seeing them perform it on TOTP in a different country where the Winter Olympics were I think.
