Poor Rick Waller. He was a nice guy from what I remember, but his take on Whitney's classic 'I Will Always Love You' comes stone dead last here. It did however reach the Top 10 on release in early 2002.

Afroman's follow up to the Number 1 smash 'Because I Got High' was also a Top 10 hit I 2002, but dropped like a stone in the weeks after.

The original Pop Star winners, Hear'Say released their second album in early 2002 with 'Everybody' being the first single to be taken from it.

Posh Spice released her second solo single in early 2002 with 'A Mind Of It's Own'. I thought this would do a little better here.

Dance novelty hit 'The Whistle Song (Blow My Whistle Baby)' was a Top 5 hit for DJ Alligator.

'Words Are Not Enough' was the final single release for Steps back in 2002 (before they reformed a few years ago) and was included on their Greatest Hits album 'Gold'.

Just missing out on the Top 35 is the Platinum 45's and Backstreet Boys.

Wow that is an impressively bad score for poor Rik! (Well what do you expect release THAT?)

DJ Alligator way too low :( just a great feel-good dance track that should never be taken too seriously!

Crazy Rap is pretty funny too.

Folowing up his Top 3 hit 'American Dream', Jakatta bounced back in the Top 10 with 'So Lonely in January 2002.

From the film 'Ali G in Da House', Me Julie' features Shaggy and was a Top 3 hit in March 2002. We also have some great dance hits from early 2002 from the likes of Lange and Goldtrix.

26. Dreamcatcher - I Don't Wanna Lose My Way (5.41)

((10), Gavin), ((0), Liamshakari27)

The second hit from City High featured Eve and was another Top 10 for the guys following up 'What Would You Do?'.

Princess Superstar peaked at Number 11 in the UK charts with 'Bad Babysitter' in early 2002 and the second single from Geri's 'Scream If You Wanna Go Faster' album, 'Calling', peaked at Number 7 in December 2001.

'Movies' was the follow up to 'Smooth Criminal' in early 2002 and went Top 5 in the singles chart for Alien Ant Farm, taken from the album 'Anthology'.

Just missing out on the Top 25 is a track that finishes off Now 51 from Dreamcatcher.

Flip & Fill teamed up with N-Trance vocalist Kelly Llorenna for their Top 10 smash 'True Love Never Dies' in early 2002. Mary J. Blige followed up her Top 10 single 'Family Affair' with 'Dance For Me', which was another Top 20 smash for her from the 'No More Drama' album.

Enrique smashed it big time in 2002 with the massive single 'Hero', which spent a month at Number 1 in February 2002 and was the first release from the 'Escape' album.

Just missing out on the Top 20 is Samantha Mumba's 'Lately' and PPK's massive dance hit 'ResuRection'.

Sorry Luciano, your a little late for this rate buddy....which is a shame as Rick Waller kind of needed all the scores he could get

On with the Top 20.

20. Ja Rule feat. Ashanti - Always On Time (6.64)

((11), jsanta), ((0), Heezus Froot)

19. X-Press 2 feat. David Byrne - Lazy (6.65)

((9), Jade), ((0), Liamshakari27)

18. Blue - Fly By II (6.76)

((10), Jade, jsanta), ((0), Tylky, darkstar79)

17. Beverly Knight - Shoulda Woulda Coulda (6.87)

((11), Simon), ((1), Dobbo)

16. R Kelly - The Worlds Greatest (6.97)

((10), darkstar79, Liamshakari27), ((0), slayberry)

Kicking off the Top 20 it's the first of many Ja Rule and Ashanti collaborations (there have been quite a few over the years ). 'Always On Time' was a Top 10 hit in early 2002.

Dance producers X-Press 2 teamed up with David Byrne for the Number 2 smash hit 'Lazy' in April 2002.

One of my favourite Blue tracks is next up at #18 with Fly By II, and was the final single to be taken from their debut album 'All Rise'.

Beverly Knight returned to the charts after a 2 year hiatus in 2002 with her smash hit 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda'.

Taken from the soundtrack to the film 'Ali', R Kelly went Top 10 with 'The Worlds Greatest'.

Into the Top 15 we go with Belgian dance group Lasgo. 'Something' was a huge dance hit in Q1 2002 peaking at Number 4 in the UK Charts. They had further Top 40 hits with 'Alone', 'Pray' 'Try' and 'Surrender'.

Canadian rockers Sum 41 had a second Top 40 hit in 2002 with 'In Too Deep' following on from their debut hit 'Fat Lip'.

I'm really happy to see the Chemical Brothers so high with 'Star Guitar'. This was one of my big tunes of 2002, and the video was just pure genius. If you haven't seen it, check it out. 'Star Guitar' was released as the second single from the Chemical Brothers Number 1 album 'Come With Us' and was a Top 10 hit.

From Robbie Williams' first swing album 'Swing When Your Winning', Somethin' Stupid' was originally recorded by Frank Sinatra and his daughter Nancy Sinatra. The duet with actress Nicole Kidman gave Robbie a Christmas Number 1 single in 2001 as well as the Christmas Number 1 album.

After raising lots of money in 2000 with 'Never Had A Dream Come True', Children In Need asked S Club 7 to do them another CIN song and they came out with 'Have You Ever', which also topped the UK charts in 2001.
