Band Aid 30 are in dark red now on Kworb and have fallen to: 0.0924 (aka, selling 1080% of Clean Bandit).

I would say radio stations are slow to play it because its the 18th Nov but it should go onto the B list on radio 1 tomorrow for next week. that should steady it out into next week a bit. Im sure itll still be selling bucketloads though.

Does anyone still follow the estimated sales for iTunes at http://digitalsalesdata.com/diydsd.php?Region=143444 ?

 

The "statistical model" referred to is based on a very similar % sales ratio as shown on kworb. The "sales" at Digital Sales Data are often fairly accurate though can sometimes be quite inaccurate. Yesterday the site showed the Band Aid 30 single as having sold an estimated 165,000 on iTunes by 8pm so it was a good call. The figures showing at this moment are based on a 24 hour rolling basis so will continue to fall as the day progresses but by midnight tonight will give a rough estimate of what the single has sold today. I estimate it has sold (until 16:30) about 40k to 50k since midnight.

 

The site used to be linked to a few years ago here at Buzzjack when it was supposed to display actual sales but I've not seen it mentioned in recent times (apologies if it has already been mentioned in this thread, I don't always follow the iTunes threads).

Mess. Perhaps that's why R1 never playlisted it (that always seemed odd even if it is Robbie on vocals). I presume it'll still be released at some point, when the album comes out if nothing else, otherwise that's the first ever truly streaming-only top 100 hit! (Been in the top 90 for 5 weeks on streaming alone, bizarre that its popularity there so utterly failed to cross over to pre-orders).

Hasn't there been some kind of banner or advertisment for it on Spotify? I don't know for certain having seen it for myself, but I think I saw someone mention it on here.
