I never really loved this as much as I should have, and although now I do think it's a really amazing song, it's really not reflective in its chart run. Dropped out once and didn't really do much at all when it returned. The X Factor performance of this will forever remain iconic though, Jessie was just in a little bubble of her own during that and I couldn't help but LOVE it. We then have Cher Lloyd with 'Dirty Love' from her second album which took a fair bit of time to come around, a really funky little song. 'Air Balloon' isn't my favourite from 'Sheezus', but it's a really great song, not her best single either, but a good one! Another Hendinian BJSC favourite makes an appearance, as well as an artist who was entered to BJSC by none other than Sandénia, but with a different song. 'Heart I Didn't Break' is fabulous, the production is stunning and her vocals on this are really something. Going down the list a bit we have 'Les Sex' by the queen herself, Kylie Minogue. Didn't like this at all, but performed live on the Kiss Me Once Tour, it completely blew me away. 0HDdjwpPM3Y

It's not my favourite album track (as you'll see), but much like everything else on the album it's pretty much flawless. Lea Michele's 'On My Way' is next. The video for this song is incredible, she looks sexy and it suits the song itself so perfectly - nice summer vibe. The song does however remind me (or the title at least) of the Dianna Agron car crash scene from Glee though, oops. Then further down a bit we have the sensational and gorgeous album track 'Spaces' from One Direction's newest instalment 'FOUR'. It's one of the best ballads on there for sure, and definitely far better than the likes of 'Stockholm Syndrome'. :kink: One of Tinashe's most touching tracks, 'Feels Like Vegas' is at #149. It's no 'All Hands on Deck', but her voice just says it all in this song. So vulnerable and elegant. 6DkwtsJBWvY
December 28, 201410 yr Bang Bang is a great collaboration and way better than anything from the 2nd era  Glow is absolutely stunning and deserved to be so much bigger and I love sheezus and air balloon  This is how we do is good but I don't think it should have been a single and the 2 Lea tracks are stunning. Battlefield will be very high in my EOY chart  Great sections Calum

'Give Your Heart Away' is definitely my favourite album track from 'Chapter One' now - there's just something about the chorus that gets me every time and her voice sounds so fragile throughout the song. Although other songs like 'Empire' and 'Beautifully Unfinished' provide close competition because they both show the same sort of style. 'Extraordinary' definitely isn't any 'Rather Be', but it's a nice song to just sit and sway along to, Sharna's voice is really quite different too, and rather refreshing. Moving down, 'Human' is one of the biggest ballads of the year, reflective in the chart run, but definitely not reflective of where it's ended up here. So difficult. And then further down we have another amazing ballad from Sia - 'Eye of the Needle'. There's a lot to enjoy on '1000 Forms of Fear' but this and 'Chandelier' are by far and away the best. Can't say I remember much else from the album, oops. 'Open Season' was a VERY big surprise for me also, didn't expect to love this but I do! 3Gz0N9F1K5w
December 28, 201410 yr Give Your Heart Away is amazing and one of my favourites on the album  I adore Human and it is definitely one of my favourite ballads let alone songs of this year  Great section Calum
December 29, 201410 yr Didn't expect much from Lea going solo but 'On My Way' really impressed me! Also loving 'Human', 'This Is How We Do', and 'Get Lost' which really needs to be huge if it's not too late.
December 29, 201410 yr At one point I was declaring Extraordinary as my favourite CB song but I'm not that huge on it anymore. I can't help but feel like Sharna sounds a bit bored on it really. Production is flawless as per usual though and love the artwork too  Eye of the Needle is stunning, really should've been a single as well as Big Girls Cry. What was she thinking not pushing anything after Chandelier :(

'Get Lost' really should have been a big hit, don't know how it wasn't and how the hype for them has suddenly died considering 'I Love It' was rather big a deal for them. I'd say it's probably a bit too late now though. :( At one point I was declaring Extraordinary as my favourite CB song but I'm not that huge on it anymore. 'Eye of the Needle' deserved a proper release though, definitely! Like you, confused she didn't push anything afterwards.

There aren't even a handful of tracks from the album that are worth 10's and 11's, but this is definitely one of them, accompanied hand-in-hand with 'Wonderland'. Easily the two best songs she's ever given us. Then we have poor Nicole Scherzy with the comeback single 'Your Love'. It's a nice summer anthem for what it is, it's nothing groundbreaking, but at the same time it was a good way to get her name back out there even if it did nothing in the charts officially. 'Run' was the much better single, really. The b-side to 5SOS' third single 'Amnesia' is up next. 'Daylight' is an AMAZING song and really should have been on the main album in place of, err... 'English Love Affair' which is by far the only weakling on the album, but I'm even coming around to that now. The cutest little Australian boy Jai Waetford is next. I knew from his X Factor Australia audition that he'd be something special, and he really really is. His music is all amazing, and RIGHT up my street. 'That Girl' is a fine example of that, but not the best (as you'll see). The BAE to beat all BAEs is up next - Jack Walton, aka. favourite human, is here with his first live show performance from 2014's X Factor UK. 'Only Girl (In the World)' was the perfect example of the type of music he could and should be making. Simply stunning. r-33Wm5tXVo
January 2, 201510 yr Jack Walton *.* Although I hate how X Factor turned 'Only Girl (In The World)' into a male only song since 1D did it (terribly). Here for Nicole and Kylie too from that lot.

It's a really great example of the style that she's gone with on 'Sucker'. I still prefer 'Boom Clap' a lot to this, but it's a good follow-up nonetheless. Here's hoping that she can be massive this year with some decent radio support and a good following. I was never really keen on 'Rude' before it clicked, and I probably hated it at one point, but it's such a jam now and I can't help but sing along and get up and dance whenever I hear it now. Funky and cool~ Then we have 'Surfboard' by Cody Simpson, one of Australia's finest. I'd definitely go on his surfboard, and the video for this is really sexual. He needs to stop. Then of course we have Sia who released 'Chandelier' in 2014 and it had buckets full of hype behind it. And now, it's kind of been ruined for me as a result of Andrea Faustini's X Factor performance which never should have happened. Becky G's 'Shower' is just ICONIC. Let's say no more. Further down we have The Script with 'Superheroes' from their latest album. I've never been a massive fan of them, but this single is amazing, and their album is definitely a lot better than I ever would have expected it to be. And then closing us off here is 'Louder' by Neon Jungle, their best single to date and really the only one I bother going back to now. Amazing. 50-_oTkmF5I

And now, I can't really say I ever go back and listen to the song at all. I much prefer other songs from the album. And then we have Pixie Lott with 'Raise Up', the beautiful album track from her third album. It was really personal to me at the time it hit the top spot, but now I can't say I pay it much attention. Thnx for being there when I needed you Pixie. Sanna Nielsen's 'Trouble' could have ended up so much higher and probably should have, but I only really listened to it intermittently. It is a GORGEOUS song though and the chorus is life-defining. We then have the lead single from The Saturdays' final Greatest Hits album, and it's a cracker. Probably one of their best to date, and the video for it is a lot of fun! Shame they only seem to pull off songs like this once in a blue moon now. Then there's Ella Eyre with 'If I Go', I don't love this as much as I used to, and it's definitely nothing in comparison to the likes of 'Comeback', but it's still got those killer vocals in the chorus and it's just a great song overall! ahdmNS9Nkm0

It's certainly no 'Bad 4 U', but it's still got the same Tanika magic that each of her songs has. I actually prefer a couple of songs on the accompanying EP to this song itself (namely 'Good Bye' and 'Runaway'), oops, but this song is still amazing. Shame we've not yet got a video for it. If she can give us some more lorry porn like she did for 'Bad 4 U', I'm game for it. Next is Lily Allen who I've had a massive turnaround for this year. 'Our Time' isn't my favourite track from 'Sheezus' (as you'll see), but it's definitely one of the best! It's a bit more relaxed than most of the stuff on there, but it's unique and chilled and cool, and I really like the video. 'Break Up Song' is slowly working its way up my favourites from Pixie's self-titled third album, it's probably my third favourite now just behind 'Champion' and 'Lay Me Down'. It's such a beautiful song and the video is one of her cutest ever. Her and Oliver doing their stuff together, aww. I know 'Therapy' is a song from a while ago now, but it really clicked with me this year after my friend kept playing it when we were out, and it's just so meaningful and has a special place in my heart. The 'Live to DVD' version is insanely stunning. And then we have a Little Mix album track from their 2013 album 'Salute' - 'Nothing Feels Like You'. A firm favourite of mine just behind 'Towers'.
