November 25, 201411 yr Take That will probably fall down to #2 as the week progresses, depending on how big their lead is, Band Aid is currently outselling them on iTunes
November 25, 201411 yr Take that COULD make it, as I'm expecting Band Aid to slide from #1 on iTunes before the end of the week.
November 25, 201411 yr Really happy for Olly. Wonder what his sales are like if he's going to get it by a 'good margin'.
November 25, 201411 yr Hooray for Olly, looking forward to seeing his sales :D 1D not keeping that distinction of being the only XF act with 3 #1 albums for long then. :P I could actually quite easily see TT holding onto #1 now unless Band Aid get another sales boost during the week, TT are gaining on them again on iTunes now.
November 25, 201411 yr Thought Take That would be ahead in this update at any rate and with both songs not selling well at the moment on kworb they could stay there especially with the performance on Graham Norton this friday - that could swing it for them. Dont think either No1 or 2 will sell much more than 80k overall though which would be a big fall for Band Aid! Hope that with olly ahead by a decent margin he can break 100k this week as im sure 1D should sell 80-100k again this week and then more as we move into December! November 25, 201411 yr I'm not sure Take That can hold unto that no.1, but I hope they do. It'd be nice to see an artist achieve that top spot fair and square.
November 25, 201411 yr Olly Murs new track has moved into the top 5 on streaming now so this should hold up well this week with the NOW album track plus Ollys album out Edited November 25, 201411 yr by steve201
November 25, 201411 yr Take That also already top 100 on streaming, if it's tight between them and baid aid 30 streaming could play a part in Take That getting to number one
November 25, 201411 yr Maybe Fleur East will stand a better chance not winning the X Factor, look at Olly Murs and OneD they have had hit albums every year, and both acts didn't win.

Win or lose don't matter. It largely depends on who Cowell gives his blessing. X Factor is just a vehicle to give the artist he feels can make him the most money a platform.
November 25, 201411 yr Would be amazing to see TT grab a No.1 six years after the last (and 21 after the first!) but I won't hold my breath, no doubt Band Aid will find a way back.
November 25, 201411 yr Take That's only number 1 due to pre-orders. Band Aid is still outselling TT on iTunes. I am impressed however they have even managed to hold up a fight at such a big song. Sales must be good! It really doesn't matter. The TT album is a sure fire no.1 next week. Thats all that kinda matters to them and live sales. Oh and yah for Olly. I wonder what decline 1D is down to. Lets be honest everyone is just streaming now albums. It's just super fans, people who havent moved on with the digital age and people buying for presents now buying. Album sales will be back to 8,000 for a No.1 in Q1. ha . EDIT just seen above post. So thats second week for Band Aid confirmed. Still good to be even near for TT. Edited November 25, 201411 yr by sajjadali
November 25, 201411 yr Mids are in, TT are just 125 copies ahead :o Well they are unlikely to stay no1 by sunday then. That figure will include lots of pre-orders and physical CD sales which are limited to 3k.
November 25, 201411 yr I never thought Take That would come close to another number 1, especially now that they've lost two members since last time, good for them! I suspect Band Aid will just hang on but I think it will be fairly close. Looking like less than 80k for them anyway, oops.
