Hoping TT overtake Band Aid on iTunes tomorrow morning and then hopefully their Graham Norton performance will get them over the line

Didn't expect James Bay to do so well, was expecting a low top 75 entry myself - well I don't follow the iTunes album chart ever since EP pre-orders stopped being a thing so was unaware of his EP doing well on pre-orders until it was released.

David Guetta flopping  Was hoping for top 10 so to see it potentially miss top 20 is very disappointing

I didn't even know Susan Boyle had an album coming out, she's became irrelevant so fast! :(

I'm surprised to see David Guetta at #14,I'm not expecting it to finish in the top 20 now but I thought it would have at least went top 10.

Is Pixie Lott top 100?

Who  Sorry Lee, never heard of her :(

Ref Susan Boyle 6-10, is it possible to know if she is closer to 6 or 10?

Thanks

oops... position added to the update "slaps self"

where's Beyoncé, Martin? cheers :cheer:
Is Mary J Blige not top 40 in the albums?
Are The Veronicas still top 40 with 'You Ruin Me'?

on the #39 bus wherever that takes you

With Jay-Z

Outside the top 40

bye for now, another chart mod will take over.

Album sales will be back to 8,000 for a No.1 in Q1. ha .

The #1 album sales have been below 10k precisely once this decade and even that was still over 9k :P

I'm fairly certain there are some digital sales missing from the album chart update today, the figures suggest Olly's album has only sold 300 downloads which is quite preposterous. A lot of the digital % figures look much lower than usual so I suspect digital sales are missing from a particular retailer. I wouldn't necessarily trust any of the sales or positions today.

Missing sales from Apple

Why did you not post this if you already knew it? :P

I'm guessing that'll be messing up the singles mids as well then unless iTunes reports track and album sales separately.

It never occurred to me, until you brought the subject up to my attention. I should add that to the main update each time when missing data is not available. :( that explains the Band Aid 30 situation.

Does anyone know where Changing, I Don't Care, Let It Go, Stay With Me, Blame, Sing, Ghost, Love Me Harder and Prayer In C are? Thanks in advance.

Lovely to see Take That number 1, time will tell if it is short lived or not. Olly Murs number 1 in the albums is great new too, i am happy enough with his sales as he will increase sales in the coming weeks. All his previous albums have managed to sell outside the 4th quarter and have had longevity on the charts and i suspect this will follow that pattern.
