November 26, 201411 yr Take That still very close to Band Aid, could the Graham Norton performance swing it for them <_< i would be so happy if they did.Labrinth looks likely to overtake Olly Murs with what i feel is a terrible song. Very interesting album chart, Olly a clear number 1 and i feel his sales will reach 80,000 or more now for this week, Ed Sheeran is likely to overtake One Direction and both Susan Boyle and Boyzone missing the top 10 for the first time with an album release. Lovely to see the wonderful Mary J Blige adding another top 40 album to her career.
November 26, 201411 yr Still pretty poor for The London Sessions at 31 for Mary J considering shes had good airplay and promo, thought it woulda been top 20! Hopefully olly can break 100k with weekend sales and Ed & Sam looking at easily breaking 50k again - brillant selling!
November 26, 201411 yr Labrinth looks likely to overtake Olly Murs with what i feel is a terrible song. Olly started behind Labrinth and has already overtaken, 'Wrapped Up' is easily outselling 'Jealous' (well, including streams anyway).

November 26, 201411 yr Really strong second day sale for Olly. Cheryl's album is at 43. Interesting thing: McBusted's Air Guitar was in fact shockingly only the 31st largest selling song of yesterday. I can't see any way of how they'll stay top ten, unfortunately. Hopefully people will just buy the album instead; it received good pre-orders upon its announcement but now the hype seems to have deteriorated. :(
November 26, 201411 yr It's not so much the hype deteriorating for McBusted, rather the fact that nowhere would support them or play them. It never stood a chance.
November 26, 201411 yr Really strong second day sale for Olly. A slightly deceiving second day sale because of the 'no iTunes digital sales' issue for the first set of midweeks. From the almost 34,000 it was said to have sold in the Tues mids, only 1% was accounted for as digital i.e. less than 340 digital sales outside of iTunes. Today's figure includes 15% digital, so around 7,600 of its current total is digital. No doubt a lot of that is from iTunes pre-orders/Monday sales. Of course regardless of this it's doing extremely well! Perhaps its genuine sales from yesterday are about 10k or so.
November 26, 201411 yr I dare say Mariah must be getting close to the T40? Not really, only up 5 places as of today. The Pogues have entered the top 75 and are now only 7 places behind her (and they have a significantly smaller streaming component than her as expected so they must be extremely close on sales only). Both of them will probably start climbing quicker later this week, they're mostly keeping up with their 2013 positions so far so if that is to continue Mariah should end the week around #47 and The Pogues around #53. Puts both on course for the top 20 next week.

November 26, 201411 yr Author Does anyone know where Cheryl's album is now? Just outside the Top 40, although I doubt it'll be able to work its way back in. Has Nicole left top 100? Yeah, just outside of it. - Good to see amends being made to the update following yesterday's - David Guetta being #6 in the albums is much better and more what I was expecting.
November 26, 201411 yr How do you EVEN pre-order a single from ASDA. I go to one sometimes and they have a hard time keeping bread on the shelves, and as for changing a soda stream gas canister...I pretty much guarantee if I went in and said I want to pre-order a CD single they'd look at me like I was nuts! I know, online, but would you pre-order with shipping costs...I don't know, seems wrong. Olly's album is really fab! TT for no 1 - I've pre-ordered the album so not bothering with the single but if it gets close I just might.
