November 27, 201411 yr Chart positions for 2 new releases please: - Platinum Pixie - Clean Bandit - New Eyes Special Edition Thanks. Pixie is at #71 (could just hold onto the top 100) and Clean Bandit's album is a re-entry / climber to #53. Not really surprised that the Clean Bandit re-release isn't doing that well, it feels like a bit of an afterthought of a release, like they made a new track with Jess Glynne but didn't have a new album ready yet so decided to do a cash-in re-release in time for Christmas instead.
November 27, 201411 yr I agree What? I don't get it. And it's SNOWING ADAM. I'm no snowman  That is usually took into consideration by mods, it's only if it's totally irrelevant that you'd be asked to take it elsewhere. Jack's comment about Take That being awful may not directly be about the charts but it's an opinion based on the fact they're likely to go to #1 this weekend. Absolutely! I better stop talking about it now

Is that not how pretty much all re-releases feel though? I thought the new tracks on New Eyes enhance the album, although I'd rather they weren't all just tagged on the end so it felt more coherent. And the bonus disc isn't too bad either, at least it's a different take on the tracks that actually works as an album on it's own.Â
November 27, 201411 yr This is a chart prediction thread. Stick to the topic. http://25.media.tumblr.com/926a8a7e2b465c2bc3911a284f842562/tumblr_mgq93cTC151ql5yr7o1_r1_250.gif
November 27, 201411 yr It will be interesting to see sales figures for tomorrow. This will surely give a clearer picture of whether TT can overtake Band Aid. Its going to be close and TT are now no1 on iTunes and have further publicity lined up tomorrow. I personally hope they can do it but think they will only stay a week at the top as the albums out next week and Band Aid may gain more momentum again.
November 27, 201411 yr Am I right in thinking the last act to do the double was Miley Cyrus? Pretty unbelievable if so...
November 27, 201411 yr They are finally no.1 on iTunes but I think it will be short-lived with Swift catching up fast. But this battle is going down to the wire, If they managed to pull a decent amount ahead of BA during the next couple of days they might just do it. Â Would be a interesting mid-week chart to look back on if they do, as they started out ahead, fell behind and now have the prospect of taking back the no.1 again, don't think i've seen the top end of the singles chart be this close all week.
November 27, 201411 yr Pixie is at #71 (could just hold onto the top 100) and Clean Bandit's album is a re-entry / climber to #53. I thought Pixie would be higher, maybe they'll do some TV ads for her at the weekend. Â
November 27, 201411 yr don't think i've seen the top end of the singles chart be this close all week. I know I did last year with Bastille/Lily Allen.
November 27, 201411 yr Surprised how well the script album his holding. Its tracking ahead of the last (terrible) album. I would have thought that since they are such a known quantity that their sales would be front loaded to the fans ....
November 27, 201411 yr Yes. I would have thought BS would be top 5 by now :(Â Your right there is a lot of BS in the top 5 :P
November 28, 201411 yr Olly Murs could get #1 next week, he was the biggest seller yesterday with "Thinking Out Loud" in second place. Taylor Swift, even if she goes to #1 on iTunes has ZERO streams and is therefore at a disadvantage (of about 8-10K/week against Olly and as much as 15K/week against Sheeran).

I thought youtube and stuff counted? Or is that just America?

November 28, 201411 yr Apparantly Take That Are Back At number 1 a local radio station has just said they are 500 copies ahead We Will see With the mids this was at 18.00 last night I imagine it wouldn't be far off the mark - but it can't be reliable if it was giving figures when there was still 6 hours left of the sales day
