Band Aid 30's sales may start to pick up again from Monday as the old Christmas songs always pick up the pace a bit on the 1st of December. (Might get another plug on the X Factor this weekend as well :P)

out of the 40

Oh come on  ! I hope that it's position will be changing for the better  !

Friday Update Top 40 As Always

Singles

1 Band Aid 30 - Do They Know It's Christmas? (2014) (49.9k - 1,025 copies ahead)

2 Take That - These Days (48.9k) *

3 Olly Murs feat. Travie McCoy - Wrapped Up (37.2k)

4 Labrinth - Jealous (31.0k) *

5 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud (30.8k)

7 Taylor Swift - Blank Space

9 McBusted - Air Guitar *

16 Years & Years - Desire *

25 Kiesza - No Enemiesz *

Unless streaming favours These Days and denies Baid, it's looking slightly worrying for TT. And it's looking like Olly Murs' gift is going to be wrapped up at 3 for another week

Looking at copies #4 and #5 will probably swap over, but I can't decide which way around it should be. Both songs are weak, but Ed's has been too long in the chart :P

Spank Blace will probz be #8 or #9 with stream inclusions. Would serve her right if she misses top 5

Also hope Yearsire gets top 20 and Kiesza top 30

Wow McBusted went down quickly from the start of the week :o

They can never keep a song high in the chart. Remember their #1 fell to 20 once?

There is nothing to indicate that 'Blank Space' will actually drop from #7 considering she's #2 on iTunes - I think being that high on iTunes is enough to stop her falling lower in the official chart.

Exactly, she definitely won't fall below #7.. and may even climb to #6.

Take That are ahead of Band Aid on iTunes plus it has streaming so it won't take much to overcome that 1k gap.

Olly Murs will probably stay at #3 but he could climb next week as he's already overtaken Band Aid on iTunes combined plus has streams

But what worries me is that today she's at 7, and that's not even including the weekend effect
Even still 'Blank Space' is currently the highest-selling song on iTunes so I'm sure that'll be enough to ensure she doesn't fall down the chart.

'Wrapped Up' is still ahead combined so not quite :P

True :kink: But you know what I mean.

Olly Murs slaying!! So, so pleased! Hopefully it'll trickle sell its way to a million sales making it his third (out of 4!) millionth seller.
The GN performance should just push Take That ahead as the gap is small, if they had released an EP or remix of the track they would have been comfortably ahead so. They only released 'These Days' as a limited run of 3,000 CD singles and a standard standalone download [No radio edit, remix etc].
I was pretty sure those Black Friday scenes on the news there were for Cheryl's new album going for 99p :P

And bringing it back saying it was faulty when they heard her singing?

As much as I love the song, maybe to the public it just sounds too similar to the first two?

She hasn't had support from Capital
