    I look back on The Greatest Hits with a little bit of sadness really. The album itself has done well enough in the long run seeing as it is over 800,000 copies now in the UK and apparently on over 1 m

    Yeah I agree with most of this. I was quite shocked that yet again they didn't do much promo for ithe GH and relied solely on their band name. I don't really get the hate for Headlines but as a single

Why making it limited edition? And a picture disk? And why does the Greatest Hits design have to be the same picture, font and overall aesthetic of a single that was released 10 years before it? What a mess lol

^ I really hope the mock up isn’t what it ends up looking like because it looks so fan made! Also “The” Greatest Hits when it should just be ‘Greatest Hits’ hmm.

Here's hoping this is just a lame cash in of a limited edition and afterwards they release something actually interesting. This is pish so far lol

I've pre-ordered I'm not sure what else people were expecting. Hopefully a bog standard black vinyl edition will get released after this for HMV etc for casual buyers to pick up.

Great to see it at #1 on Amazon, but I’m still disappointed by how it looks. It’s very “fan-made bootleg” looking. Hmm~

 

From an audiophile point of view, shoving 15 songs onto one picture disc is going to sound pretty terrible.

 

So I dislike how it looks & it’ll likely not sound good...

 

... so of course I’ve preordered it anyway :’)

The picture disc is sold out everywhere bar Amazon and the social media links take you straight to Amazon now. If you haven't pre-ordered I'd do it now.

Say nearly all the 2,500 vinyls are pre ordered when it's 'released' on the 31st May, will all those contribute to the UK chart?

 

Hopefully by the beginning of June the album will be given a boost too along with CD sales, downloads and streams. I hope it charts again.
