Ripping the heads off all my Barbie dolls

76. Kid Cudi ft. Raphael Saadiq - Balmain Jeans

77. Katy B – Still

78. SZA ft. Chance the Rapper - Child's Play

79. Tinashe - All Hands on Deck

80. Trust - Icabod

This section is rounded off by an artist i didn't really know existed prior to this year. But after persistent loving from leww and one listen to 'Icabod', Trust shot up on my radar. Queen Tinashe begins her reign on this chart with the crazy 'All Hands on Deck' - where she turns the volume UP and shows just why she's a key rnb female going right now. And from one of the key players, to THE #1 in SZA. She has had a special place in my heart for the past few years, and with the release of her debut album this year i had nothing but adoration for her even more than i could have ever managed. She shows her face for the first time in the countdown, teamed with Chance the Rapper for a slice of anything but, childish play; lyrically she can not be beaten and this managed to show the progression from innocence in S to the fierce lady she hoped she would become in Z. Katy B refuses to let go of her huge year last year with the stunning 'Still' (unfortunately 'Crying for no Reason' charted last year for me (FAR TOO LOW) and so has been left out of this year's crop ). And with the release of his latest album, the third (and final(?)) installment of the Moon trilogy, Kid Cudi brought something quite special. The highlight of the album was easily this dark, seductive, sexy number about undressing not only the clothing of a lover but their entire being; it's a huge song that really proves that the Kid has become a man and then some.

What I like/have heard so far:

84. The Vamps - Last Night

87. Tove Lo - Timebomb

92. Lily Allen – Air Balloon

93. Tove Lo - Talking Body

98. Neon Jungle - Bad Man

100. Katy Perry - This Is How We Do // This is How We Do (Grandtheft Remix)

1D to slay please.

Just heard Manboob for the first time thanks to this  Gutted I missed out on that contest! Nice countdown so far and making some good discoveries along the way, albums so far are looking a bit dodgy though...

:o better late than never. 'Manboob' was iconic at the time and i was firmly riding its hype train!!

Good to hear. Yeah, it hasn't been the best year for albums and i even struggled to order some of these at the bottom. There are plenty of good ones to come though and a sizeable shift from "ooh i like a few tracks off this album" like it has been to "omg this album is life-changing" so stay tuned for that & keep checking back for it :D <3

(unfortunately 'Crying for no Reason' charted last year for me (FAR TOO LOW)

Which is why you should have left it for this year (like me)!!!!!1!!

I want to touch you but there's history

71. Angel Haze – Sing About Me

72. Ariana Grande ft. Zedd - Break Free

73. AYER – Young

74. Shura - Touch

75. Austin Mahone ft. Pitbull – MMM Yeah

The A's and Gays :o Austin's big single of the year just squeezes into the top 75. A massive (not so) guilty pleasure of mine, but i long for the time when he releases things that really suit who he is an artist instead of attempting these cheap tricks. Still 'MMM Yeah' was a bop and one of the lighter moments in the EP (not album!!1) it came packaged in. The wonderful song/video package from Shura is a stark contrast to the previous track and remains a highlight of this year's BJSC. Wonderfully delicate. AYER make a splash here with the euphoric 'Young' that came teamed with a heap of remixes but it's the original that means most to me. Ariana breaks free of the overrated 'Problem' with the first hit that i got behind from her, paired with one of my favourite videos of the year *.* No i don't know what she's saying either~ And finally, Angel Haze's beautiful ode for appreciation is next, truly an underrated artist/album and this song shone brightest for me from it. An incredible way to start an album, and the perfect way to introduce me to the artist: "i'm making it for people who just want to get lost". Sing it.

Ariana and Austin :cheer: Mmm Yeah is so much fun, although I'm glad the EP had more than these type of pop songs. Break Free got boring quickly but I enjoy it a lot now :D (Problem is better)
So far I have shaded your count down by not responding to it, and I may continue to shade it x

Just kidding x

25. Fatima Al Qadiri – Asiatisch

Dragon Tattoo / Szechuan / Shanghai Freeway

26. Austin Mahone - The Secret

What About Love / The Secret / Till I Find You

Two ends of the spectrum here. Starting with major crushD Austin. He didn't quite deliver what we wanted in terms of that long-awaited album, but a 9 track EP was good enough. The music is a stark development from the likes of 'Banga Banga' and shows a maturity that is fun and works for him. Very 90s boyband chic with his edge and personality thrown in. And Austin is followed by newcomer for me Fatima Al Qadiri with her concept album paying homage to the east, in terms of the album's aesthetics, sound and lyrics. It took a long time to grow on me, but eventually i found myself humming along to the tinny instruments or singling along to the glorious 'Dragon Tattoo'. A very brave album that perhaps isn't as listenable or enjoyable as the others in my countdown, but for what it is, a look into the east through music, it does very well to keep me interested.

I need to be the one who takes you home

66. Ariana Grande - One Last Time

67. Lucas Nord ft. Tove Lo - Run On Love [QOTC Edit]

68. Katy B – Wicked Love

69. Banks - Goddess

70. Fatima Al Qadiri - Dragon Tattoo

O and Fatima Al Qadiri kicks off this section, i swear i didn't plan that. 'Dragon Tattoo' is one of those songs that means so much but so little at the same time. The first half is one of the most rousing instrumentals of the album, but when her vocals kick in it's something quite special. I'm sure there's a lot of meaning behind said tattoo, but for me it just resonated with how fierce and proud she was as a vocalist and i lapped it up because of that. Banks makes her first of 3 appearances in the singles chart with with this aptly titled track, where again the singer's proud, cut-throat attitude is what makes the song so endearing. My favourite album track from Katy B does enough to shoot into my favourite tracks of the year and this wasn't even included on the main album!? :o silly woman. A reworking of 'Run On Love' from Lucas Nord but featuring on Tove Lo's album is next, the insatiable 'Run On Love' has you coming back for more every time <3 and Ariana returns again, with another album track to complete this section - perhaps her most delicate and beautiful moment. It demands to be released as a single, but i fear she'll do a KatyPWalkingOnAir and leave us hanging :/
