Her best single since probably 'Die Another Day' for me. :o '4 Minutes' was the last song I really, REALLY loved by her, but this is exceeding that for me (never cared for her 'Confessions' era much/at all (yes, I know how alone I am with that!)).

I'm sorry, but anyone who can't appreciate Confessions as a work of UTTER POP MAJESTY needs to seriously re-evaluate

I only like 'Sorry' and 'Jump'... the other songs I heard from that era were just not my thing at all. 'Hung Up' is annoying (I do like the sample use though!) and 'Get Together' just bores me to death. :( I like the former two songs but they weren't enough to entice me to listen to the full album.

 

Maybe now I have Spotify I'll give the album a listen at some point, not sure. But right now, this era is amazing and LFL as I keep saying is up there as one of her best for me already!

'Sorry' has often overtaken 'Hung Up' as my favourite Madonna single and 'Jump' is excellent too so that helps me ignore the 'Hung Up' hatred (almost). :P Can't tell whether or not you'd like the album considering you're very half and half with the singles but to me it's perhaps the best pop record out there, so I'd recommend a listen regardless.

Confessions is WONDERFUL, easily the best of the 7 Madge albums I've now heard.

 

Glad to see this looking set to make the top 40, really loving it right now.

Got my 2 track cd today. Very happy lol.

So it should outpeak GAYL then, pretty good.
I think it might just sneak top 20 in that case, it's holding up alright for now, so with an extra 2 days of sales it could do it. If it does that will be a big deal I think, especially after the singles last time round.
Number 26 in the mid week chart so far.

Just to elaborate further, it sold more copies on Thursday (Friday Update) than it did on Wednesday (Thursday Update), being the 7th best selling song on today's update.

 

Furthermore, the OCC have revealed that 'Living for Love' will be Madonna's 71st Top 40 hit as well as this:

 

"After less than two days on sale, the singer’s latest release is currently placed at Number 26, according to today’s Official Charts Company sales flash (February 27). She's just over 1,000 chart sales away from the Top 20, while another 10,500 would see her enter the Top 10."

Its dropped to no18 on iTunes now so unlikely to make the top10 this week but should make a splash in the top20. Still pretty poor given all the media attention she has received from Brits.
Amazing to see her still getting top 40 hits over 30 years into her career <3

She also didn't recieve the sales for the single from all the people that pre ordered the album.

 

This deserved to do do much better. !!!
