One Republic on strictly.

No idea why? They have had two new singles recently?

They could have performed that on the LAST series of Strictly :drama: What is it with people performing old songs recently, first George Ezra doing 'Budapest' on The One Show and now this...

'Counting Stars' is actually still much better than 'Love Runs Out' and 'I Lived' have ever been though to be honest.

Well to be fair I'd prefer they perform Counting Stars over those last two blandies.

Pretty much Bre's last sentence :magic:

This shows that BOSS could have been a big hit if it even had a 1/3 of Little Mixes airplay..they musnt be happy Simon got another girl group to perform on the UK X factor..from the performance where do people think Fifth Harmony will peak on i Tunes.?

Considering the reaction to 5H's performance on Twitter and... just about everywhere, I doubt Little Mix are all that concerned.

I reckon BO$$ will climb a few more places before free-falling. It has nothing to sustain it.

Uptown Funk really is everywhere already - was played as backing music on a few shows this weekend as well as XF - please don't lose too many sales due to the 12th Jan release. I'm sure it'll be ok tho as it may get a bit lost over Xmas. Hope it's no1 for weeks!!

 2. Last All Night (Koala) [feat. KStewart] - Oliver Heldens

 3. Drown - Bring Me the Horizon

Could 'Last All Night (Koala)' be a second consecutive sales #1 to miss out on the overall #1? I can't see it outselling 'Thinking Out Loud' by enough to overcome Ed's streaming advantage ('Last All Night (Koala)' is available to stream but isn't particularly high up Spotify yet despite being available since at least yesterday). Of course failing that Taylor could also be a second consecutive sales-not-not-overall #1. Kind of enjoying the uncertainty of the top end of the charts the last 3 weeks even if it is largely because of sales at the top having their now usual pre-XF winner plummet.

EDIT: And of course Band Aid 30 could also throw a spanner in, can't believe I forgot about that :magic: Although I think Ed is still the most likely #1.

Have just listened to 'BO$$' and I'm liking it quite a lot, very similar to the singles off 'Salute' (i.e. wannabe Destiny's Child but that's a WINNING FORMULA for me).

Very late :o & :cheer: for Fleur getting to #1 on iTunes. Shame it can't chart officially (and neither can the original).

New CHVRCHES is the most interesting of the new releases for me so hope it holds up well during the week. 'Bo$$' sounded very good on XF too - will have to check out the studio version.

7. Fifth Harmony - Bo$$

41. Sam Bailey - With You

51. Idina Menzel - Baby It's Cold Outside (duet with Michael Bublé)

79. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer

Yeh it's between Oliver, Ed & Take That for No1 this week with most of the new entries not going to sell much more than 40k and Ed will have 15k streams to his total. Maybe CD sales could make a difference for Band Aid as their sales at 12 this week will have been 20-25k and they won't plummet too much as it's December.

The original is on Spotify already so it's able to chart on streams alone, which I suspect it will do - perhaps get Top 40 like 'All About That Bass'! :o

What makes you think its streams will count towards the chat? I imagine "chart ineligible" won't apply simply to downloads.

EDIT: Can't read, don't mind me.

Ooh that'd be brilliant! Any chance of it doing it this side of Christmas? :o (i don't know where to find the streaming chart/how big it needs to be on streaming to actually chart top 40 )

Seeing as Fleur can't chart that means Take That are #1 combined at the moment

it's 26 on Spotify currently so it's possible it can :D

Well no it doesn't. She's not eligible for the *official* chart, that doesn't mean she's not #1 on iTunes.

Meghan was #4 on the streaming chart when she got to #33 overall. So Ronson will probably need to be low top 10 at least. He could do it I think.

To think I had nominated you as most intelligent on the Buzz-awards. :P

I'm expecting a quite rapid fall from the top ten from Bring Me To The Horizon. Wouldn't be surprised if they weren't even top 40 next week.

Alesso seems to have got a nice boost from its brief use on I'm A Celebrity!
