Yay for 'Yours' re-entering the top 10 again (and without knocking out 'Drown'). It's proving to be fairly resilient so far. I don't expect it to enter the top 10 this week (or ever sadly, at least it got there on sales though) but hopefully it can climb into the top 15 at least.

 

This must be the first time since 'Hallelujah' that a song has held both of the top 2 (in two different versions or not)! I think 'Get Lucky' might have been #1 and #3 at one point which was the closest it came to happening between them. EDIT: #2 and #3 it was, with Naughty Boy at #1.

Good call on Ronson's labels part - it's going to #1 (which is the whole reason they put it in 2015 in the first place). I can see it returning to the top spot in the new year now too! Hoping Fleur's version can hold up too.

I think the reason why it was released in January is because they didn't want to release the album in Q4 and it would have been strange to release the single so early before the album drops.

Of course it makes sense to release the single now that it got so popular, but I wonder what they'll do with the album, will they release it very early January?

 

Anyway, "Uptown funk" is the jam, it's easily one of the best tunes of the year :wub:
