I actually liked Dermot more than Sarah-Jane :lol:

The week-by-week stats are always anticlimatic. Every single series it's the same story one person dominates most weeks, there may be a couple of discrepencies in the first few rounds or a random midway week but normally the winner is set in stone by about week 4 latest.

 

The year Little Mix won was the only one I remember where it was up the air & the eventual winners started out nowhere vote-wise & finished higher as the series went on.

I agree, I think she is a lot more natural than people give her credit for and seemed to get along with everyone and push people/judges at the right time for answers to things we wanted to know.

I imagine Andrea made the final because they were determined to do everything they could for Fleur. Having Lauren in the final competing for the younger music-buying audience would've only eaten into her vote.

Yeah, I watched the first week of Xtra Factor with the live shows and thought Sarah Jane was really wooden and struggled but she's really improved and she's great to watch now.

She's no Konnie though is she :(

Tbf it would have been worse though because we'd never get to hear a studio version :lol: But I've wanted her to sing Janet Jacksom for WEEKS now!

James went 6-6-6-3-6-3-5-1-1-1! Little Mix were 6th in week 2 (week 1 was that stupid twist where the judges had to send their own act home) and top 5 for the rest. They're about as "exciting" as these statistics get though, but still each year I'm excited to see them :/

'All For You' as the winner's single would have been the best thing eveeeer as well and would have been an amazing change from the bland Christmas #1's. If that is true I am gutted (and yes I know we still wouldn't have had it as Christmas #1 ok).

Well, that makes sense as to why she had the same choice as Ben and Andrea had something different! Omg. I kind of want to hear it now :\

i believe there was a konnie appreciation thread as me and old ryan adored her. so many good pix.

Janet would have benefited from letting Fleur sing it as Janet hasn't been in the charts for ages, I like sarah jane but miss Caroline,I loved Caroline and Olly together. Delighted Ben won as I loved his version of the winners song.
