December 11, 201411 yr Not at all! I wouldn't want to ask someone who doesn't know! Wasn't trying to be impatient just wondering how many peeps know the positions, not necc. asking :) What happened to your ! in Martin or is it a reference to Kendrick Lamar? Agree 100%. <_< That will be the second request I've made this evening. And someone else requested AOM so it is essentially my first request ;) Perhaps you are confusing me with Taylor's requests? Um, I already did? And another note, I don't often request her anyway :D Sure! :) Why did you even think I made any requests? Can you please quote the many request I have made this evening? But he was wrong! Because I was falsely accused of making too many requests :( Excuse me but these posts are totally unnecessary, and just attention seeking. Please stop making so many spamposts. Why do you feel the need to answer everything? Just let it go, you make the thread unbearable. Sometimes silence means more than 100 words.
December 11, 201411 yr Uptown Funk looks like it could be number 2 on streaming this week. Definitely number one this week. Next week is a mystery. Also, isn't it strange that I Loved You and Yours are in the top 10 on iTunes (#7 and #9, respectively), doing well on streaming (#50 and #55, respectively), but somehow end up out of the top 15? :???: Source here
December 11, 201411 yr This topic has never had such an unbearable member, and its affecting others, so do us all a favour and bugger off.
December 11, 201411 yr Yours at #18? :( really wanted Ella to reach top 10. Why is she performing Ghost tonight? It's like she wants to be known as a 1 hit wonder! So did I. And I really hope Ghost is ahead of the boring Sing (Ed Sheeran). Both other Sings (by Travis and Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band) and way, way better than Ed Sheeran's Sing and Thinking Out Loud put together. It's a disgrace that the latter has spent 9 weeks in the top 5 when Yours hasn't dented the top 15. Edited December 11, 201411 yr by Taylor Jago
December 11, 201411 yr But it normally is even with it sales position or streaming pushes it down though And thanks Jay for the SIO position  She really needs to put her stuff back on spotify though :drama: I agree on the Spotify issue. Shake It Off is #19 on sales, #32 on combined last week. You can really feel the difference. If she ever puts her catalogue back on Spotify, it will soar back up.
December 11, 201411 yr So did I. And I really hope Ghost is ahead of the boring Sing (Ed Sheeran). Both other Sings (by Travis and Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band) and ten times better than Ed Sheeran's Sing and Thinking Out Loud put together. It's a disgrace that the latter has spent 9 weeks in the top 5 when Yours hasn't dented the top 15. Think Ghost will be remembered as this decades 'Left Outside Alone', so basically a pop classic  She'll have a very hard job repeating its success. Plus, Sing is a great song :o

December 11, 201411 yr No wonder all of Ella's other songs are flops. If she concentrated more on them instead of "Ghost", she'd have more than one big hit. Same thing happened last year happened with Naughty Boy. "Lifted" flopped because he kept promoting "La La La" Edited December 11, 201411 yr by Hadji

December 11, 201411 yr I actually really liked Sing, but it has just become stale now. Understandable, it normally takes a few months out of the chart for a heavily-played song to become listenable again!

Same thing happened last year happened with Naughty Boy. "Lifted" flopped because he kept promoting "La La La" And John Newman also ignored Cheating and Losing Sleep in favor of Love Me Again. But Ella Henderson has actually been promoting Yours a bit (she has sung it on The X Factor, The Jonathan Ross Show, and obviously it got a boost from Hollyoaks). Not so much for Glow, though. But where is she performing Ghost, by the way?
December 11, 201411 yr Understandable, it normally takes a few months out of the chart for a heavily-played song to become listenable again! I know, I had that problem with Ho Hey and How Long Will I Love You, which I couldn't stand during their latter life in the chart, but now find quite enjoyable. :teresa:

Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne performed "Rather Be" but they could have easily performed "Real Love" whereas George Ezra could have easily performed "Listen To The Man" instead of "Budapest" Edited December 11, 201411 yr by Hadji
December 11, 201411 yr BBC Music Awards. Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne performed "Rather Be" but they could have easily performed "Real Love" whereas George Ezra could have easily performed "Listen To The Man" instead of "Budapest" Well, they're nominated for those songs, and those are the songs that got them awarded, so it makes sense.
December 11, 201411 yr Not so much for Glow, though. She performed it quite a bit. National Lottery/This Morning/Alan Carr Chatty Man/Live At the London Paladium + BBC Radio Live Lounge. Glad to see "Yours" seems to be doing better than "Glow" so far and hope it ends up rising into the top 10 at some point, but a nice long stay in the top 40 would be nice regardless. ^_^

It's a huge shame it disappeared so quickly :(
December 11, 201411 yr How likely is it that Sam Smith can sell a million copies of In The Lonely Hour by year end?
December 11, 201411 yr How likely is it that Sam Smith can sell a million copies of In The Lonely Hour by year end? I think it's highly likely. It's on 828k and the Christmas sales are the highest of the year, plus it's number 2 in the mids with more than 50k this week.
December 11, 201411 yr Glow is a masterpiece imo. It's a huge shame it disappeared so quickly :( Personally, I think Glow is overrated. One of those songs Buzzjack loves and everyone else is indifferent too
