I assume like Chris Rea today is the best day for OMS as it's literally one more sleep til Xmas lol!

 

Can anyone post a wee combined update today before iTunes goes into messed up mode on Xmas day like it usually does. Just wanna see the positions before it breaks and when we see it again pogues etc will be at no 150!

Oh wow at Leona! Hopefully 'One More Sleep' doing well for her this Christmas indicates that it will be an annual seller and will continue to get played on the likes of Radio 1 and Heart.

 

It's also the #1 Greatest Christmas Song Ever on Viva (no matter how ridiculous that sounds). :D

'Cool Kids' is absolutely bombing, already down to #72. Glad it's not likely to be a hit, really nothingy bargain basement Paramore song and seems to have a pretty bad message to it (I may be misinterpreting it but it seems to just be reinforcing the insecurities of 'uncool kids', plus there's something very off about those lyrics coming from a fairly successful band anyway :unsure:)

It's also a very very repetitive song.

I think you may be misinterpreting it (or perhaps I am!) - the way I see it it's from the perspective of someone who doesn't think they're cool and they wish they'd be liked rather than the band actually saying that you must be cool to be liked.

 

I agree that the sound of the song hasn't got much to it so I'm not too bothered it's not doing well.

Glad to see "One More Sleep" rise so much today! Hopefully it'll gain a decent amount of sales today and that'll help keep it top 100 by the end of the week.
