60 269 Shot Me Down (feat. Skylar Grey) – David Guetta (Peak #2)

59 273 I Will Never Let You Down – Rita Ora (peak #10)

58 278 Happy – Pharrell Williams (peak #3)

57 280 Salute – Little Mix (peak #7)

56 280 Shatter Me (feat. Lzzy Hale) – Lindsey Sterling (peak #10)

Opening the top 60 is David Guetta’s first charting single from his album Listen. The song is a coverremix from some old song, which I think is inferior to this one, to the displeasure of my mother oops. The song scored the SuperHit andpeaked at #2, yet it only spent 10 weeks on the chart, explaining its low points for a #2 peaker.

Rita Ora also returned to the scene this year with Calvin Harris produced I Will Never Let You Down. Rita scored her very first ClubHit with this song, which peaked at #10 in the chart, but spent 13 weeks in it, throwing it ahead of some of the higher peaking songs. Rita always had a rough time in Yehesi, after being ridiculed for her sleeping around, sleeping with her producer, cheating with 20 dude, which led to her being called Rita Whora live on radio. She kind off redeemed herself with her promotion for IWNLYD, but still has a long way to go as news has just gotten out that she has to re-record her album since Calvin Harris won’t let her have his songs on her album. A mess!

Worldwide hit maker Pharrell Williams makes it to #58 with Happy.the song peaked at #3 on the chart, but already charted for 3 weeks in 2013. It was certified gold for points over 300.

Little Mix enter at #57 with the #7 peaker Salute and the obvious highlight of their album with the same name. Jamvale’s BJSC entry Shatter Me ties with Salute at 280 points. It peaked at #10 and became one of the few top 10 hits influenced by BJSC.

(I forgot my USB at home so that's why I coudn't continue. This WILL be finished promise)

55 282 Skyscraper – Demi Lovato (peak #3)
54 282 Five Hours – Deorro (peak #8)
53 282 Trigger – Maluca Mala (peak #4)
52 283 Satisfaction Guaranteed – Alyssa Reid (peak #2)
51 284 Prayer In C [Robin Schulz Remix] – Lillywood & The Prick (#6)

Opening our top 55 is Demon Lavatory with her hit single Skyscraper. The top 3 hit shot to the top after a rendition by Sam Bailey was released as a single. Demi might not have the best vocals ever on this song, but the cracks in her voice here show pure emotion and make the song more powerful, as opposed to Sam’s version, which is just shit. After its peak it quickly fell out of the top 40.

Yehesi’s very own BJSC entry Five Hours by Deorro peake at #8 and spent 14 weeks in the top 40. The song failed to be as successful as predicted by the odds, but it sure was received well by Yehesi, peaking at #4 on the sales chart, as well as #2 on Airplay.

2 other BJSC entries can be found at #53 and #52 by #00274E and Bellamia respectively. Trigger peaked at #4 and is currently still charting in the top 15, while Satisfaction Guaranteed peaked at #2 but only managed to spend 11 weeks in the chart, the same as Trigger has done so far.

Pan-European hit Prayer In C also managed to scrape silver as it scores 284 points with a #6 peak. With 13 weeks it did very well, especially compared to Robin Schulz’s previous remix of Waves, which peaked significantly lower.

50 289 Crazy Stupid Love – Cheryl (peak #5)
49 290 Goodness Gracious – Ellie Goulding
48 293 This Is How We Do – Katy Perry
47 297 Trumpets – Jason Derülo
46 301 Beating Heart – Ellie Goulding

There’s a 4-point gap between top 50 and not top 50, which is just as much as being #57 and #51. Edging out is Cheryl’s comeback single Crazy Stupid Love. An underwhelming song at first, as shown by the Yehesian reaction, but it quickly grew on the GP and became SuperHit as well as hitting the top 5. It spent a total of 12 weeks in the top 40, from which 4 in the top 10.

Ellie Goulding shows up at #49 with her SuperHit and #2 hit Goodness Gracious. The track from her albums re-release Halcyon Days hit it big fairly quick, peaking in its fourth week, but showed a swift decline from the top 10 afterwards. She also charts at #46 with Divergent Soundtrack Beating Heart, which scores over 300 points, despite only peaking at #13, and racking up 15 weeks in the chart.

Jason Derülo did a little better with Trumpets, which entered in the first week of 2014, peaked at #6, but spent 14 weeks in the chart. Jason Derülo has always been popular with the General Public. With hits such as The Other Side, Talk Dirty, It Girl and Wiggle, Jason has become a household name and a force to be reckoned with. Often described as the male Katy Perry, he is on the up.

Katy Perry however is one the decline, with her last 3 singles all underperforming, whereas with Teenage Dream, she scored her biggest career hit with her hit single The One That Got Away. This Is How We Do strands at #48, with 293 points. This Is How We Do peaked at #6 and managed to rack up 14 weeks in the chart.

Beating Heart is awful! One of Ellie's worst ever singles, but Goodness Gracious... :cheer:

45 302 Anaconda – Nicki Minaj (peak #7)
44 302 I Don't Care – Cheryl (peak #2)
43 311 Your Love – Nicole Scherzinger (peak #6)
42 311 Jump – Rihanna (peak #3)
41 318 Regarde-Nous – Amel Bent (peak #2)

Nicki Minaj bursted back onto the scene with various flopped “buzz” singles, but Anaconda was the first successful single from Nicki’s new album The Pinkprint. The booty-loving track ends up at #45 on the Year End Chart, peaking at #7 and gaining 13 weeks in the top 40. A slight underperformance for an artist as big as Nicki, especially considering Starships, Pound The Alarm and Va Va Voom happened, but what do you expect from such a novelty-driven hit?

A more serious song comes from Cheryl whose biggest hit this year enters at #44. I Don’t Care gathered a total of 302 points. The song is currently still charting and peaked at #2 for 2 weeks straight. It saw a swift rise to its peak but also fell down the charts fairly quick. It has earned 12 weeks in the top 40 in 2014.

Cheryl’s direct competition Nicole enters one place and 9 points higher with Your Love, tied with Rihanna’s Jump and 7 points behind Amel Bent’s Regarde-Nous. Amel Bent is one of the few French artists to enter the chart and previously scored a hit with her track Délit.

38 328 I'm A Freak (feat. Pitbull) – Enrique Iglesias (peak #8)
37 334 Tennis Court – Lorde (peak #7)
36 349 Not On Drugs – Tove Lo (peak #3)

Opening the top 40 are Shakira and Rihanna with the hit that never was, Can’t Remember To Forget You. When news started leaking that Rih and Shaki might have recorded a collab, the music forum world exploded and the hype was at an all time high. However they released Can’t Remember To Forget You and it was, despite it being good and having one of the sexiest videos of 2014, one of the biggest letdowns of 2014. It peaked at #3 in the chart and spend as little as 12 weeks in the top 40.

Another letdown is provided by our dear Pitbull and Wild Wild Love. Pitbull, who scored the biggest hit ever with Timber, is known for his catchy pop tunes and this one was another earworm, but it just didn’t compare to the excellence of its predecessor. It peaked at #6 so it still did well, just not compared to the massive beast that was Timber.

Enrique Iglesias also returned to the scene. With I’m A Freak Enrique did very well for himself. It peaked at #8 in the chart, #4 on Airplay and reached #3 on the iTunes chart.

Tennis Court was another hit for Lorde, after Team and Royals smashed their way to the top 10. The song charted at #7 and spent a total of 16 weeks in the chart.

Tove Lo debuted this year in Yehesi with Habits, but that song flopped compared to her follow-up singles. Both Not On Drugs and Talking Body already did better and neither have finished their chartrun yet. Not On Drugs is currently at #10 in the chart, A List on the airplay chart and has no intention to leave us just yet. The song spent 10 weeks of its chartrun in 2014, from which 4 at #3.

Actually Timmy dear, I think it was really refreshing for Pitbull to release "Wild Wild Love" in a time where dance music is dominating and not many artists are releasing traditional pop music (and before Taylor and Meghan have smashed the charts and probably create a resurgence in pop).

35 350 Hard Time – Seinabo Sey (peak #3)
34 351 Up! – Samantha Jade (peak #4)
33 352 Out Of The Woods – Taylor Woods (peak #1)
32 356 All About That Bass – Meghan Trainor (peak #5)
31 361 Stupid Love – Jason Derülo (peak #3)

Missing out on Gold status by 50 points is Seinabo Sey's Hard Time. The Swedish singer debuted with this song at #30 and went on to peak at #3 and spending 6 weeks in the top 10. It crashed out hard falling over 13 places in its final week in the chart.

Yehesi's very own nations sweetheart, Samantha Jade ends up at #34 with her 4th top 5 hit Up!. It was floppy for Samantha's standards and remains her worst performing single so far, but that ain't no mean feat with singles like Sweet Talk, What You've Done To Me and Soldier. Samantha spent 13 weeks inside the top 40, from which 8 were in the top 10. It saw a swift decline once it left the top 40, falling 12 to 40 within 4 weeks.

Next up is Out Of The Woods at #33. The first promo single from Taylor's highly anticipated studio album 1989, which topped the charts in Yehesi earlier, went to #1 for 2 week and manages to chart at #33 despite only having 9 weeks in the top 40 in 2014.
It is currently still charting and has just left the top 10. The song was critically acclaimed by the Yehesian critics and music buyers all over the country raved over the song. Woods became an instant hit, debuting at #21 and reaching #1 within 3 week, replacing Shake It Off. It would afterwards be replaced by Blank Space, making Taylor the first artist to replace herself 2 consecutive times.

Worldwide #1 hit All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor ends up at #32, 5 points behind #31. The song reached #5 after a steady increase week on week and left the chart after 15 weeks.

Jason Derülo lands at #31 with Stupid Love, missing out on top 30 by 2 points. The pop song managed 15 weeks inside the top 40, peaking at #3 on the charts, #1 on iTunes and #5 on radio airplay.

28 368 Dollhouse – Melanie Martinez (peak #2)
27 375 Celebrate The Rain (feat. Eva Simons) – Sidney Samson (peak #2)
26 380 MMM Yeah (feat. Pitbull) – Austin Mahone (peak #4)

Pitbull is known for his trashy dancepop songs and Fireball is no exception to this formula. Fireball is this year’s #30 and Pitbull’s third song in the countdown. The John Ryan-featured song managed 16 weeks in the chart and a #3 peak, after it was made ClubHit by Yehesian radio stations.

At #29 is a debuting artist. Charli XCX never charted as a solo artist before, but managed to score a massive hit with Boom Clap, which featured on the soundtrack of The Fault In Our Stars. It spent 2 weeks at #3 before dropping out of the chart several weeks later.

Dollhouse at #28 was our very own BJSC entry, which didn’t do as well as we had hoped. The song, which was released by Melanie Martinez from The Voice of USA, managed to peak at #2 for 2 weeks and rack up 14 weeks in the chart. It peaked at #1 on the iTunes chart, before slowly trailing off as airplay began to pick up. It managed to stay in the top 5 for 5 weeks and reached #8 on the Airplay chart.

Celebrate The Rain was released as part of a Dutch TV show called The Hit. The collaboration between Sydney Samson and Eva Simons (yes they are f***ing) spent 14 weeks in the chart, peaking at #2 on the official chart, #1 on sales and #2 on Airplay. It was held off the #1 spot by Iggy Azalea’s monster hit Fancy which is yet to be announced in this countdown.

Austin Mahone debuted in Yehesi with What About Love and continued his success with MMM Yeah featuring Pitbull. The song missed a golden certification by 20 points, but did very well. It spent 6 weeks in the top 10, peaking at #4 and racked up a total of 15 weeks top 40.

25 387 World Of Dreams - Galavant http://imageshack.us/a/img705/4125/clubhit.jpg
33-17-11-09-10-08-06-06-08-11-12-16-22-30-34-36-XX (16 weeks)

Opening at our top 25 are Galavant with 387 points, just short of a gold certification.
The producers duo scored a #1 hit in 2013 with Tonight, which ended up at #10 in that year-end countdown.

They entered BuzzJack's Song Contest for Yehesi twice. Both with Tonight and World Of Dreams. Tonight did well, but sadly they DNQ'ed with World Of Dreams.
Nonetheless the song was a succes. It charted at #6 on the combined chart, while peaking at #1 on the iTunes chart following their performance on BJSC and at #4 on the Airplay chart. The song turned out to be one of the biggest party songs of the year, peaking at #1 for several weeks on Yehesi's very own Club Chart as well as being used by various DJ's on their sets in Yehesi.

24 399 Calm After The Storm – The Common Linnets
23-01-01-01-02-03-04-07-11-15-20-22-29-38-40-40-XX (16 weeks)

Calm After The Storm must've been one of the biggest surprises of the year, if not THE biggest.
Deemed hopeless in Eurovision the duo, then existing of Dutchmen Ilse DeLange and Waylon, pulled a masterpiece of a performance for this song out of the bag and won their semi final. The performance made Europe fall in love with them and a repeat of the same performance in the final shot them to 2nd place. It was the best results for The Netherlands in nearly 30 years and scored the most points ever.

In Yehesi, The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the events of the year, with many songs charting. Several Eurovision songs made it into this countdown and I can reveal that Calm After The Storm is not the highest of them all.

Calm After The Storm entered the chart at #23 the week before Eurovision, when the hype started to get going. It then immediately shot to #1 in Yehesi, as well as in Europe. It was the most successful song of this years contest around Europe. In Yehesi however it had to bear against 3 other songs.

Charting at #24 with 399 points it just misses out on a golden certification, but it could well re-enter around Eurovision time next year.

23 424 Don't – Ed Sheeran
36-30-25-23-18-17-14-12-10-06-05-08-06-07-12-21-30-35-40-XX

Up next at #23 is Ed Sheeran's first ever hit Don't :jameela:
The single, taken from his 2nd actual studio album X, peaked at #5 on the chart, #4 on iTunes and #3 on Airplay.

This is the first single Yehesi has warmed to from this lad. Sing flopped in at #20-something, as did Lego House.
It surprised Yehesi's radio stations as they wer every late to latch onto this. It peaked on Airplay 3 weeks after it peaked in Sales.

The song sparked rumours in the Yehesian press about it being about reportedly ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, but these allegations were quickly denied by both Ed's team and Taylor's team. They were never together according to Taylor's team.

22 425 Glow – Ella Henderson
35-26-23-20-15-11-07-03-02-03-06-06-14-19-24-30-32-37-... (18 weeks)

Ella Henderson's first entry on the countdown is at #22. What a horrible artwork I must say.

After her highly succesful debut single Ghost, which is yet to come, Ella returned with a killer 2nd single.
The single charted at #2 and spent a total of 18 weeks in the chart in 2014. Ella performed the song on The Voice of Yehesi, after which it peaked at #1 on the Sales chart.
However Airplay was a tad behind, but eventually peaked at #2.

Glow was raved by the critics around Yehesi, claiming Ella was on a winning streak and drumming up huge anticipation for Ella's album, Chapter One.
Both Glow and Ghost were deemed 2 of the best X Factor singles ever released in a yearly countdown polled to the GP.
