In all srsness, this is probably because I've been watching Charlie Brooker recently, but I find it really nice that the best selling song of 2014, a year that's been fully depressing in terms of news and world events (Ebola, Ukraine, air disasters, Isis, many more :( ), is a song about just being happy. That and the fact it was such a big worldwide hit I think shows optimism still exists in large numbers, which is really nice. (slightly tangent post there)

But seriously why do people love it? Why did the full version end up on Now 89? Why would something with such a small concept need to be that long?

I have to agree. Especially since it was short on time. I mean, had they cut it to about 3 and a half minutes, they wouldn't have needed to cut off the ends of everything else. And did they have to put the version of Black Widow with those weird noises?

The question really is how are the OCC going to proceed? It seems the all time lists and million sellers and the EOY chart (going by this) will be sales only BUT the weekly chart will be sales plus streams, what an odd decision if true.

It's very odd - Vidcapper made a good point a few days ago about what's going to happen if they stick by this decision and stream continue to get more popular/sales become less popular.
