December 28, 201411 yr Most needlessly drawn out number 1 announcement of the year? She still nearly cocked it up  Actually quite like this Haenow track at the moment. I'd tentatively put it in my top 3 winners singles from X Factor. 2nd for me behind Alex and Hallelujah :)
December 28, 201411 yr Good to see 'Uptown Funk' back at the top after being unjustly displaced by the latest useless X Factor karaoke~ :cheer:
December 28, 201411 yr I sense a Sam Bailey like drop to around 6/7 for this next week. Should still manage more weeks top 40 (not that that's anything to write home about) Edited December 28, 201411 yr by Dobbo
December 28, 201411 yr That is the worst top 3 I have seen in a long time. Have a word with yourselves British Public.
December 28, 201411 yr Mark Ronson back on top where he should be :cheer: Likely to stay there for a few more weeks too, deserves all of them anyway
December 28, 201411 yr "Something I Need" holding up despite streaming/gift card effect benefitting the likes of Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. Hopeful that the lack of new releases can ensure it gets more than 3 weeks T10 (as Sam Bailey did), but I'm sure it will. On the topic of #1, I'm only working up until the end of January here, but "Uptown Funk" could be looking to extend 1-2-1 to 1-2-1-1-1-1-2-1 (with Meghan Trainor being the only real competitor and that's not until January 19th!) There aren't many tracks around that look like they will 'climb' to #1 - I'd say "Up" with the inevitable radio/video play, but that's it. "Blank Space" would be a contender if it had streaming to help it.
December 28, 201411 yr as it's the last chart of the year it seems like the perfect time to thank everyone who puts effort into making this thread work :D Amazingly run every week!

And that just proves what a ludicrous decision it was to originally release this in late Jan. He should be kissing Simon Cowell's boots for forcing him to release it early and potentially rack up the most weeks at number 1 for a song since Bleeding Love. Edit: since We Found Love.
