Very low chart placing for Olly Murs

Not that surprising as the digital version of the re-release only includes some extra tracks while the physical version comes with an extra dvd that includes a full length concert.

Same applies for Take That - the 2015 CD-version of III also has a DVD as a bonus, while the digital verion only has 4 new songs.

Did Anastacia perform on Strictly at the weekend? Seems like it's had zero impact on sales of so - Her GH is at #50 even though they dropped the price to £5.99
Her performance is shown tonight on the results show :P

Great news - Hope the album gets a huge boost!

Amazon physical chart might be the one more to watch given Strictly's demographic :P

Doesn't seem to be doing much on Amazon (#85) - However it's climbed to #20 on iTunes so will hopefully give her a steady 3rd week on the albums chart.

Amazon album charts don't update the way iTunes does. Check again in the morning. Their physical charts only majorly update like twice a day.

Ana all the way back up to 15 on itunes. Glad the promo paid off.

Fleur's album has been floating around the 100-150 mark for most of its release (except for after her XF performance when it climbed into the top 30), and right now, somehow, it's fallen all the way to 244. Oh dear. It's not doing great on Amazon either, but I can't think of why Fleur's fanbase or the general public would bother to pre-order her record. I think her physical sale will have a high percentage share of her overall amount rather than the digital copies she sells or her pre-orders.

Sigma at 65, but dropping from the 45 position they were at after their XF appearance. I doubt they'll sell many physical copies.

Troye Sivan at 140. Blue Neighbourhood shot straight to #1 upon its availability. Most of his first week sale will probably already been accounted for through his pre-order, to be honest.

I think Fleur will struggle to push albums. Sax has a novelty song feel to it already and it being rammed down people's throats probably hasn't helped that. It is not the sort of song I'd lead into an album with.

I do actually agree with this. I think a second single and Q1 release for the album would have been a better plan. I know there's the risk of missing out on Q4 sales, but albums lead with just one novelty-esque song often don't do too well.

I agree with Joe that releasing the album after a second single in January would have been a better plan. Sax is certainly a novelty song as well.

I still think she shouldn't have a problem going top ten, and will sell consistently over December anyway. There's always a chance of her record to peak higher next year if more singles are successful and push its sales.

Tomorrow's largest pre-orders in comparison to the last update I posted in brackets:

Coldplay - 5 (6)

Sigma - 53 (65)

Fleur - 67 (244)

Troye - 70 (140)

Troye up to 42 OMG! I hope he sells surprisingly well. The Guardian gave Blue Neighbourhood a 5/5; that critical acclaim will be helping him.

1 Coldplay A Head Full of Dreams

2 Adele 25

15 Fleur East Love, Sax and Flashbacks (Deluxe)

18 Troye Sivan Blue Neighbourhood (Deluxe)
