Hype from the video I guess? It's triggered a lot of discussion...

It's an incredible song and yes the video is a huge talking point, but it stands alone away from that too. Despite my consistent looning for 'Big Girls Cry', even i can perhaps accept that this was the most logical follow-up single. Another triumphant song which i hope is a worthy successor to 'Chandelier' commercially too.

There's a second version of Uptown Funk at 11.

It's the instant grat sooo we'll see how well that decision goes. Should still sell OK in terms of remaining high the official chart as I doubt the album is going to be big unfortunately.

I'm almost certain that if Elastic Heart performs as well as it is already looking to do so, Big Girls Cry will come next. Hopefully without an 8 month gap though.

all songs have that big increases in the last kworb update, because the top version of "Uptown Funk" has been deleted and their sales are now compared to the sales of "Wish you were mine, which were only half as big as that of "UF".

Right i am very confused by this release now. In the UK all versions feature The Weeknd (and the version on my iTunes has him doing the second verse too), yet on US iTunes it is without The Weeknd. After a little research, it appears The Weeknd isn't actually featuring on the album version of the track, so why is he credited on the ones charting here and why do i have him on my version? :unsure:

The video for Elastic Heart is an uncomfortable watch. It does scream 'p****'. But then I find the Chandelier video to be quite inappropriate in parts so why am I surprised?

So does he not do the second verse on ANY of the official album versions then? He sings the second verse on mine, but as i didn't acquire it too ~legally~ i presume that is just a mistake from the source i got it from? Very confused, apologies ~

I got mine off the iTunes version and he doesn't feature at all (apart from in the title - Ha) unless he helped with the production too?

 

- He's not credited on the CD or Spotify versions so I assume they are the same but with the correct crediting?
