I wasn't that keen on 'Talking Body' but, after hearing it this morning, it finally clicked. Still waiting to be blown away by Tove Lo in the same way 'Stay High' did though.

Better...but still not what I'm looking for. Idk, I just think 'Stay High' was so completely different and not something I'd expect to take to so much so it just made it special.

 

Dare I say it, but, in comparison to 'Stay Higher', everything else has seemed a little...generic?

Hozier - Someone New

 

I like this, it's a lot more upbeat and kind of summery so I'd still give it a spin even if you're not a fan of Take Me To Church.

Ooh yay at this getting a push now, my next favourite on the album, please smash!

It's probably my second favourite on the album so a good choice for me too, I really want Sedated though :(

I too am enjoying 'Someone New' (need to stop confusing it with 'Something New'!!) but I can't see it, or anything else from the album, doing well at all as 'Take Me to Church' will still be going past summer and I'm sure it is still high in the US charts.

Adore 'Hozier - Someone New' Although From Eden is my second favorite song so hope that is a single at some point :heart:

Seems I may be reverting back to liking Hozier now as I've been getting back into TMTC a little recently because of playing it on guitar but this I'm immediately preferring to that already. I watched the video a few weeks back and liked it so I wouldn't be against it doing well even scraping top 40 but then there's the likelihood that he'll remain a one hit wonder so maybe it doesn't matter too much lol.

Someone New was one of my faves when hearing his album, good choice!

Good to hear SN being given some support now, was originally given a release date of Feb but TMTC exploding put pay to that!
