A fantastic week for Corrie in the ratings - could have been above 8m all week had it not been for the clash with football during Friday's second episode.

Stars in Their Eyes is surely dead and buried now. It's a shame because it could have been excellent with a capable presenter on board (i.e bringing Cat Deeley back), but it's all been about Harry Hill and making it *his* next project, not a revamp of the show itself at all.

Poor start for Mr Selfridge but the clash with 'Last Tango in Halifax' won't have helped.

Channel 4's ratings seem to be struggling a fair bit lately.

Surprised to see Call the Midwife's ratings so high this far into the show - would have thought the hype for it would have died down a fair bit. Guess we won't be seeing the end of that any time soon.

It's getting around 3/4 million on BBC3. I assume not many people watch it twice in the same evening so that makes a total of around 1.75m plus however many watch it on catch-up services.

Oh well that's good I suppose! Is the 3/4m mark quite standard for BBC Three, or is it doing very well by their standards?

Next week, Waterloo Road airs at 11:30pm so don't get your hopes up for a good figure. I expect 600k max.

 I don't know why they're even bothering with the BBC One repeat then. Aside from it already being on BBC Three, I'm pretty sure the majority will be viewing on iPlayer after broadcast, or on demand and it's only really getting ratings on BBC One because there's nothing else on.

It was the number one programme on BBC3 in week ending 18 Jan (the latest week on the BARB website) so it is doing very well for that channel.

That's a great figure for Sky, even the 'big' US imports usually only get like 900k from what I've seen and they have a built in audience already usually.

The other thing this thread has shown me is the sheer amount of NASTY CRAP C4 have, ''mega brothel'', ha.
