however it is already down to 496th in Uk ITunes on pre-orders... no point in pre-ordering really anyway so most will buy next Friday... but spreading sales over 2 weeks for Kylie is a big mistake in my opinion.... unless radio play picks up and heavy promo... lets see.. I think Giorgio Moroders team will promote the hell out of it.

Friday is an odd day for release. It will be lucky to make top40 given it will only achieve a partial week's sales on the first week when sales are likely to be highest, unless there is significant promotion for the track through radio play.

Are we sure it isn't just a mistake with iTunes or something? I recall Madonna's 'Living For Love' was originally scheduled for 20th February (which is a Friday), but then it was altered to the 22nd which makes more sense.

Yeah I'm sure the release date on iTunes for most songs is the Friday, but that's usually the release date in Ireland and we get it on the following Sunday.

I think its not a mistake.... timebomb was released on a Friday.... think Friday is the day the video worldwide premieres and the start of many chart weeks in other countries I think....

 

kylie is back in UK so hopefully she will do promo and Giorgio must do some also.... not sure what she could go on? j ross? one show? etc.... needs radio play, but if it doesn't make an impact on first week then it wont get any........

 

pre-orders abysmal but hey who pre-orders a single.... if on Friday the album is available to pre-order too then they could have Right Here Right Now as the freebie and it does count towards the singles sales and charts.... hence why Into the blue did well.....

Course they will promote. They are performing in Germany together in the Melt festival though this is way away..

 

I cannot see them wanting this to flop.... its a big comeback for him and the video teaser etc, they want this to be successful.

 

Sony will surely get this some good coverage on videos/radio play etc....

There will also surely be an ITunes EP of remixes etc not sure when though..... its a pity it leaked and they rush released it to capture some sales

and am I not wrong that the song was written by Kaz Poole for Kylie etc.......
