(Not gonna lie that is a little disappointing but I'm guessing it lost a LOT of sales from people just pre-ordering the album instead of separately downloading the song, at least it's top 100). Wasn't expecting to see Fuse ODG climbing again this week, getting that top 75 peak so he's 'officially' got 6 hits, hooray! Wow at The Weeknd still climbing too to get a first top 75 as the main artist, and Big Sean finally getting his first top 100 as a lead artist as well :o Also a new peak for Kodaline's 'All I Want', only by 7 places but a new peak nonetheless! January 18, 201511 yr Mark Ronson could do the double next week, he should be able to manage it I think, if album sales are below 20k, possibility Fall Out Boy and Enter Shikari, occupying the top 3. The album chart will be getting a bit of clearout, I also expect Funeral For A Friend, Aqualung, Belle & Sebastian and The Decemberists to feature.
January 18, 201511 yr The sales chart is actually much more interesting, veteran comebacks, classic oldies galore, and higher debuts from up and coming acts. Avicii in the top 10 too. The only plus the streaming-influenced chart has to offer is an early chart position for Meghan Trainor, who will chart high anyway once released. :(

As for The Prodigy it will climb as Radio 1 are playlisting it and grats will give way to genuine sales. Same will happen to Noel as Radio 2 are playlisting him. January 18, 201511 yr Author I'm hoping The Prodigy will improve on that peak as airplay picks up (from R1 - like any other station are going to play it!) but I'm not convinced they will at all. It's not even top 50 on iTunes now. I think if it does climb it'll be in a few weeks, after dropping out of the top 100 next week. It seems like they're making the transition to 'album act' this era. That's a relief that the OCC have changed the credit on 'Elastic Heart' by the way! The more sources for the solo credit the better :lol:

Speaking of the sales-only chart, I see James Blake sneaking into the top 100 there :heart: A fourth week in the sales top 100, it must have fairly respectable-ish sales for a #87 peak. Here's hoping he can chart a bit higher (on sales at least) with the lead single from album 3.

January 21, 201511 yr Author Triple posting oop but certain people may be pleased to hear that I've retroactively edited the threads in which 'The Hanging Tree' charted to credit Jennifer Lawrence. I always said if iTunes changed their credit then I'd change it as well, and indeed the song now credits Jennifer on a couple of the versions on iTunes (the one from the score is still only credited to James Newton Howard, but the song has been added to the main soundtrack and there is also a remixed version available as a single, both versions crediting her as a featured artist).
