Thanks James!

I can't believe you just did that. STOOPING TO LEES LEVEL. Not cool. I am actually quite offended.

 What are you talking about?
This song is a solid 14/10. Her best album track ever, but I can't imagine any of the releases from that era not being a single so I'd have had it as a single without replacing anything :P
It should have replaced 'Alejandro' and been just before 'Monster'! :(

DITD is by far and away her best album track and it's VERY NEARLY her best ever song for me too. 'Paparazzi' is my fave but this is always contending with that and 'The Edge Of Glory'! Them 3 'Bad Romance' and 'Gypsy' are the perfect examples on how to do BIG, pure pop songs. When she gets it right, oh my it's right!

And it when she doesn't release it she gets it wrong. The record label had this pegged for release before it was scrapped :(

  We know.

Brilliant track and always thought that it would have followed Bad Romance and Telephone perfectly instead of Alejandro, which I was never that keen on. But Dance In The Dark is fantastic

It would have been the most natural progression tbh but the label clearly had other ideas.

No one can argue Alejandro, one of her most famous hits, shouldn't have been 3rd single!

Dance in the Dark is okay but not the second comin of Bad Romance as all y'all act.

Dance in The Dark is one of her musical peaks for me, the bridge is something else and it never grows old, 5 years down the line and I'm still IN LOVE with the track, I always envisioned DITD/Monster being a double a-side release after alejandro and being released before the born this way era to foreshadow the next darker era but oh well

Born tHis WAy wasn't darker though - it had Steps-lite choruses, aka Judas and Bloody Mary.
