I really hope Rihanna falls below Fergie soon. She seems to be falling at a faster rate now.

Ellie up to 29 now and still two weeks till release :o I think they should bring it forward a week.

I don't think the track will drop early, ain't it meant to tie in with the movie release, but its nice to see the track that high, it shows there is a huge demand for the single.

they should really pull it forward one week, especially as the FSOG soundtrack is currently scheduled for release one week before Love Me Like You Do is, and there's no competition for the #1. She could even release it this Sunday and easily go to #1.

As for the Rihanna single, I haven't added my two pence worth yet, I just feel the track is out of her comfort zone to her previous material. Its not my thing at all, its awful, but that's my opinion on the track. I see the track is trailing off a fair bit now, she be lucky to get #10 by Sunday I think. I predict #11.

Hopefully her record company are taking note and reading Buzzjack iTunes thread topic ^_^ and decide to release it early.

They definitely need to release "Love Me Like You Do" early. It's so annoying that record labels don't react when the song is clearly in high demand. Even if its just bringing it forward one week. Whether it's this Sunday or next Sunday it will get to #1 easily.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the biggest 59p effect :o

17. Jay Z & Linkin Park - Numb / Encore

40. Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way

49. Florence + The Machine - Spectrum (Say My Name)

51. Snow Patrol - Run

Jay-Z & Linkin Park 'Numb/Encore' now back in the top 20 from the 59p effect :D

would love to hear it back in the top 40, it already has an amazing chart run though

it was the biggest selling non top 10 before I'm Yours/Set Fire To The Rain/A Thousand Years/Let It Go came along

Indeed holding it back gets high sales mainly in the first week but no stability at the top unless there's no competition whereas look at UF steady and sometimes increased sales throughout its time at no1 for 6/7 weeks (albeit at a busy time like during gift card week)!

9th of Feb is a relatively busy week for releases though, Ne-Yo, DJ Fresh, Charli XCX & Imagine Dragons all stand a chance of number 1 I think (albeit a fluky low sales one). I mean Ellie would likely trump them all easily if it was released, but I wouldn't expect it would be as much of a walkover as it would be if it was released on the 16th. (I doubt it will do it much harm either way)

that 8/9 Feb week will be interesting; Chris Brown/Tyga, LuvBug and Bakermat could all chart relatively high that week too! (though DJ Fresh and Ne-Yo will likely chart the highest of the new releases I think). I don't see Imagine Dragons doing anything though, i'd be surprised if 'I Bet My Life' ends up being anything more than a low-ish top 30 smash at this rate

I posted a top 100 update on the older 59p tracks earlier on the day :magic:

I can definitely see Numb/Encore going top 40 as it's still only half week through. Shame Numb itself couldn't get a reduction though.

I still can't get over Numb/Encore's initial chart run, that was so bizarre, especially for those days!

Yeah, Numb >>>>>> Number Encore

'Numb Encore' is still good though. What a phenomenal run, all those weeks in the top 20!

I'm thrilled to see Numb Encore doing so well with the 59p effect. That is a crazy chart run for a song that has peaked at #14.
Rihanna, Kanye and Paul AKA the "Dream Team" are increasing again on iTunes :yahoo: ; come on RiRi get that top 3 smash!!!

766 Charli XCX Doing It (feat. Rita Ora)

Finally doing something. Needs to be a lot higher though.

When did Sugar by Maroon 5 get so high? (currently no 14)
When did Sugar by Maroon 5 get so high? (currently no 14)

must be that popular by the looks of things. I honestly don't know why it's got higher than Animals did. Really odd. This time I'm agreeing with Bre on a M5 track in wishing it wasn't so high.

I think 'Sugar' is rather charming. Better than 'Animals' or 'Maps' for me. Have radio 1 snubbed it though?
