Fantastically emotional episode, I think most of the people who were underwhelmed at yesterday's ending will have changed their minds seeing the effect it has and will had on the rest of the family. The 'What I Did For Love' ending did make me jump but it was nice to see the whole cast come together for the ending of such a landmark episode!

Oh, and Mimi was sensational tonight especially with the pressure of reading that letter. She delivered it perfectly, incredible for a 16 year old. I really think she will became one of the stars of the show in a few years, become the new 'Stacey' so to speak in terms of her popularity.
I really hope she is, such an underrated actresses who's had so little to do since Beth was born so I hope she has a prominent role in dealing with the aftermath and rises in the ranks of the soap. Like I said, she was fabulous tonight (as was everyone really) - her reading the letter was my highlight along with Laurie's acting while Jane was taking the blame.
For some reason I doubt Dean's dead. 'A body believed to be Dean's was found in a burnt out car', perhaps somebody just put two and two together after he was reported missing or something, or maybe there's a cover up going on.

Bobby did it

I like the relationship between Cindy and Bobby which appears to have developed, hopefully that will be explored more in the aftermath.

What a week, sad its over as the build up and excitement all week has been great and i have enjoyed it all so much.
When was the preview shown, I missed it. :( Was it during Backstage Live or an advert after it?

Thanks Joseph, just seen it! *.*

What an incredible week for EastEnders, everyone involved should be very proud. Highly entertaining.

The letter at the end, oh my goodness. Felt so terrible for everyone involved, though I also feel terrible that Peter missed that part. Who knows if we'll even see him again...

Hate Bobby though.

If you're talking about Peter then

We will, he was in the preview and he also said on backstage live it was his last day but not Peter's last day on screen

I know, it nearly set me off!!

An amazing end to a phenomenal week of TV, though I don't know how they're going top this! I thought the 25th anniversary week was great but this was on another scale. Dominic can never leave now

I'm watching part of the omnibus atm. I haven't been a regular viewer for many years.

When they kicked the door down and found Nick Cotton dead, that brought things full circle to the first episode. Nick, if I remember rightly, killed Reg Cox who was found at the start of episode 1.

I also saw some of Friday's live episode, including the Julia / Tony love heart as a tribute to the two people who created the programme.

With all the Cotton drama, they now need to bring Mrs Doyle back permanently.
