I feel like Kush and Stacey could work tbh . They both have lost a fellow partners who died quite young so will understand how each other are feeling . It's a shame this will probably ruin the Stacey and Shabnam friendship though as I really do like there friendship.

Martin and Stacey have the potential to be the new power couple of EE like Arthur and Pauline. Stacey gives me Pauline/Pat vibes already as a future matriarch. Now she just needs the right family name (Fowler) and some kids so cement her place.

Great episode today! I imagine they've given Dot a guilty verdict on manslaughter because June Brown wanted some time off? And so glad Mick is the father (which I expected since the spoilers suggest Dean and Shirley becomes very eager to find Roya).

June has been in the news today because of losing her sight, so perhaps it's something to do with that. I don't mean to sound grim but the producers are clearly confident she's still quite healthy if they've given her 14 months in prison. :P

I too am glad that Mick is the father, even if it was expected for the reason you said, but hopefully this means that they can put the Carters vs. Dean storyline at one side for now and focus on the story between Dean and Shabnam.

Providing Dot behaves well in prison () she should only have to serve 7 months under the current rules and the rest on licence. And I believe the fact she's already served nearly 3 months in custody means she'll 'only' be in prison for 4 months.

Dot will probably be back in the new year, she has already serve some of her sentence.

Haha, could you imagine that storyline?! Very true though, and that would probably a good amount of break time.

Hopefully she'll be back for Kathy's iconek return storyline in Autumn.

Kathy! :cheer: I was expecting another scene between her and Phil last week what with it being an advertised week but I was happy to see her tonight. Not sure what her returning storyline is about still, I was wondering if she was being protected from this Gavin but he apparently 'died' when Kathy did so I'm still none the wiser!

Brave decision to be in a cafe that seems to be in walking distance from Albert Square though.

Kathy's Gavin is so Sharon's biological father it isn't funny.

Gavin's her husband/partner she left with to go to South Africa and they both 'died' together.

That will be super weird if this Gavin is Sharon's dad.

omg Fat Elvis!?!

Can we have a Fat Elvis and Big Mo spin-off show too? :teresa:

I liked that little reference to when Kat and Alfie last left the show together in 2005 at the end. Quite looking forward to what their spin-off show has installed.

Alfie was insufferable at the doctors! A joke after everything the doctor said to him would wear really thin very quickly... I don't think most would have that level of patience. Also lol at the "we just had a cancellation and can get you in for an MRI straight away". Very likely. :kink: Overall Alfie came across as being incredibly stupid in these scenes for me, as opposed to being anxious/in denial.

Alfie avoiding telling Kat outright is typically frustrating too. Then again I don't think most people would continually ignore/overlook their partner saying their name in a concerned fashion, lol. ("Kat...", "Kat...") :drama:
