401. Tough Love - So Freakin' Tight [PRE-ORDER]

Looks like this got a play on Radio 1 yesterday, could actually become a hit?

They're likely to playlist it. It's also available to stream already so that may help it on the official chart.

What does everyone think of Ed and Rudy's new track? I quite like it and think it sounds similar to the likes of Gravity and Changing, and if it's going to be as successful, if not more than TOL, I think it will actually deserve its success :P

Who the feck is Rudy? I wish you stop with the funny names, they are not funny at all.

Agreed - just plain annoying. Other people do it as well - "Sir Newman" and "chart saviour John Legend". May have been funny/interesting the first time but to carry it on for months....

The difference being they were funny/interesting at least the first time (and for some multiple times). Shortening Rudimental's name to Rudy is not, it's just laziness.

Next time I will only put Ed then <_<

It wasn't meant to be a joke, I just thought it would sound better than Rud or R

Yeah she took part in the 2008 series. I think she finished 5th?

I think it was about 7th, she was my favourite that series! I was so upset when Jedward stayed over her, it was the first instance of X Factor making a shock decision for publicity I think. She sung the national anthem in the 2014 Championship Play-off Final at Wembley that I was at last May too. :D

And I wasn't on about that

There is a difference between Rudy and Rudimental, Rudimental are a band, Rudy sounds more like a solo act. ^_^

Anyhow... back on topic :drama:

!!

I wonder if 'Earned It' could challenge for top 3 next week? IF he does finish at #2 behind Goulding (I know it won't but if), when was the last time two tracks from the same soundtrack hogged the top 2 spots/has it even happened before?

The obvious example that sprung to my mind was November 1978, when 'Sandy' by John Travolta was Number 2 behind 'You're The One That I Want' by him and Olivia Newton-John.

I think you've really missed the point with those two examples but whatever ~

They play it on nighttime Radio 1 (which is 1Xtra really) all the time. Good song, don't think it'll do any better than say 'Creeping In The Dark' though.

What do you mean when you say night time radio 1 is just 1 Xtra really?

A lot of the nighttime shows are simulcast on R1 and 1Xtra (to save money presumably).
