Top 5 maybe I'd say, with the novelty of them being a guest entry and it being catchy and quite current. I am really really liking it though, can see it moving right up my rankings <3

I saw that 'Eurovision version' of 'Alive' the other day, but I doubt it's anything official - I would assume that's just some random person who's chopped out 40 seconds (very well admittedly), but I doubt that's anything official as the Eurovision version of whatever song it is is still being produced according to reports.

Melbourne radio station Kiss apparently tweeted that Guy told them he was now writing a new song for Eurovision, although I can't find this tweet so not sure if it's true.

No way is he in the writing process in March.

He mentioned in his press conference that there were 2 ballads he was choosing from? BUT considering almost every song is a ballad this year, i can totally see australia trying to get something uptempo out of their plans as they really want to win and with a big uptempo gap they should be going after that.

It is, SBS announced that they are presenting the song to the public on Monday morning too I believe. They are cutting it fine!

Oh wow :drama: Alive cut down a bit so that it fits would be fine (the last 30-40 seconds are pretty repetitive anyway), but a new song is probably better - they should have just done that in the first place though!

Apparently this song announcement is coming at 6.30pm Australian time, which is like 7.30am UK time I think. So we'll know when we wake up tomorrow!

Just heard it. It's pretty good but not groundbreaking. Very modern - you could almost say rnb electro swing with trumpets 😂😂

 

It's not massive but it's not a ballad and it's really catchy, can see myself loving it after a couple more listens.
