AWKWARD

How so?

Unfortunately, the #76-100 positions in the 90s and early 00s differ to those used in the chart runs in the Chart Histories thread on UKMIX: http://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=13100

So now I have to go through my Madonna/Kylie chart runs in their respective AFs and make changes, and also assume the #101-200 from this period are wrong too. :(

The EOY Chart for 2014 is entirely different to the one they first published on their website which was also announced by BBC Radio 1

Fantastic site revamp, so much effort and time must have gone into this.

I'm pretty sure it's been discussed on previous pages, but I think Radio 1's countdown didn't include streams?

Good to see some official confirmation about the 'correct' EOY chart, or at least the one that the OCC deem to be correct and will presumably remain on their site forever more.

I think we concluded that streams from July onwards had been included, but not those in the first half of the year.

I've had a reply from the OCC. They have said that it would be convenient to receive a whole batch of corrections although, obviously, they will also welcome individual emails. So, if you want to add to a Buzzjack contribution, post your corrections here and I will send them all in. Clearly, if there is something that doesn't work, send them an email so that they can fix it asap.

We've often been critical of the OCC here but they'v done a great job with this site and are clearly determined to make it as good and as accurate as possible.

In the physical singles Top 100 section, they appear to have missed out the May/June/July/August 2005 charts.

http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/physi...hart/20050424/1 Last chart of April 2005

http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/physi...hart/20050501/1 Shows a chart from September 2005 instead of May. Any date typed between 1st May 2005 and 10th September 2005 brings up this chart.

Ah I see what you mean popchartfreak, but at least they have a list of sorts I guess.

The mismatched photo in the OCCs video charts that I mentioned earlier in the thread seems not to have been a one off. When Disney's animated classic Hercules was topping the video chart in May 1998 the OCC have illustrated it with a picture of a live action version of the story (not sure exactly which version). And more bizarrely when the period drama Mrs Brown, about Queen Victoria, and starring Dame Judi Dench and Billy Connolly, is shown to have been in the top 3 of the video chart in summer 1998, the OCC have managed to illustrate this movie with a picture of Brendan O'Carroll in drag... one is not feckin' amused!

They are definitely going to be posting the 76-100 positions for the period April 1991- 1994 which has always been missing up to now. So that is very exciting news.

Just noticed that on the weekly charts it now lists top 100 weeks rather than top 200 weeks, which makes a lot more sense! It also correctly identifies re-entries instead of marking them as new entries (and no longer includes 101-200 positions in the 'last week' column).

It is still listing the three Kylie re-entries as new entries though oddly... I'm guessing this is because they're listed under a different label this time ('Cherry Red/PWL' instead of just PWL). That said, Sam Smith's 'Lay Me Down' is incorrectly identified as new as well and that hasn't even changed label so it looks like their re-entry-checking process isn't 100% effective :magic:

Also noticed 'Native' is listed twice in OneRepublic's album chart history, and the weeks total on the current chart is only that since the re-release. Not sure if that's on purpose or not (the first chart run is credited to 'One Republic' with a space and the second without the space so it might be an error).

Hopefully they'll crack on and fix all these little errors, but from what I've seen the new site is fantastic - what a great resource to be able to see a song's complete UK top 100 chart run; with access straight away to all of the individual charting weeks.
And it won't let me access some of the weekly compilation charts from 2003
