Speaking of worst TV shows. Has anyone caught that new ITV daytime show "O'Brien". OMG, what's even the point. They literally just spend an hour yelling over each other not even debating the issues. The show is full of bigots and the host - this O'Brien person - is so biased towards certain guests.

Taking New York, contrived as it is, should be on there too??

Along with MIC and TOWIE??

Also Two Pints and Game On were atrocious.

Most gameshows are anyway so I'm ignoring them except for a special mention: Goldenballs.

The key feature in shows I hate: being talked down to, or being patronised. I don't need things to be explained at every turn, and I certainly don't WANT IT. I'm not expecting everything to be a multi-layered masterpiece like Fringe or Battlestar Galactica which requires, nay rewards, loyal and repeat viewing but SOME effort being spent on affording the audience a modicum of respect and allowing for their intelligence is essential.

This pretty much epitomises Pointless! Shame, I find it a really good show aside from Alexander Armstrong and his ears.

I loved Two Pints! :( I thought it was hilarious.

Everything has been covered in worst shows except (and again, I know it isn't UK) How I Met Your Mother. Seriously one of the most unfunny shows I have ever seen, I will never see what people saw in it!

Oh my gosh YES! It was recommended to me by multiple people so I really wanted to like it but didn't get into it AT ALL, I never bothered again after watching two episodes because it was that poor. Really don't get it either!

I wouldn't say HIMYM was the WORST ever or anything but I definitely agree there's not a lot to it. I've given it a good few chances, I think i've watched like 6 or 7 episodes when I've jsut been bored/ill and it was on TV and I just can't get into it and find myself even remotely enjoying it.

Completely yes!!!

It's a blatant Friends rip-off and doens't try to hide the fact whilst the main characters are all obsessed with relationships. Barney is just a Joey rip-off taken to ludicrous fantasy extremes. Doing that in NYC? 1. He's not George Clooney. 2. He's not George Clooney. 3. It makes all women look like needy sex dolls for men. 4. He'd be absolutely diseased.

The jokes are literally surreal, they even made Hal from Malcolm in the Middle a bad actor on that show, the plots overdramatic and the events/ morals over the top and compeltely out of step with real life. 'Kerrrds, nothing ood ever happens arrrfter 2am' - wut?? 'Keeerds if you're ever in a race with your frieeends across town' - WUT??

Man O Man with Chris Tarrant.

Anyone remember this:

I loved this so much. Tacky trash TV at its best.

I'd take it any day over stuff like Take Me Out.

Naked Jungle with Keith Chegwin. What were Channel 5 thinking there?

Oh Yes!

That show was absolutely dire

After the BBC axed Robot Wars (before C5 rescued it for just one series) they came up with some weird late night almost replacement, but really shit show called Mechanoids.

They also had a kids show that I don't care to remember the name of where instead of actual robots fighting, they drew them and they were then animated and had fights that way, and the kids cheered on by the side of the arena, although they would have been watching nothing...

That sounds spectacularly terrible

It was

It's called Bamzooki if you need to know what to avoid.

Omg nooo Bamzooki was SO bad :drama: I was never a fan of a lot of CBBC but that was a real low.
I still want to know what the children were watching when the fights were going on
No You're Back in the Room hate please, it's hilarious Saturday Night viewing.

I can't actually believe somebody could sit through that show and genuinely laugh out loud. My GOD it's about as funny as James Corden :o
