Excellent #1! I've been anticipating the return of Florence and 'What Kind of Man' ticks a lot of boxes for me. Outstanding video in its own right but the perfect accompaniment to the track (and especially to that chorus :heart:). Very much liking the direction the album seems to be taking.

 

Interesting to see 'Lay Me Down' so high here. How would that rank against the rest of Sam's singles for you? I unexpectedly really liked the sound of it during his BRITs performance, having been indifferent to it previously. Will probably get tired of it soon enough though :drama:. I'd imagine the single choice is highly unlikely to quieten his rampant hate brigade on here given it's not exactly showing a different side to him!

 

Nice to see you supporting our fellow BJSC 65 debutant there with 'Make Me Feel Better' :cheer:! Very happy to see that set to do decently on the official chart.

 

'One Last Time' :wub:. That's been hitting me hard of late and when I try to anayse it, I don't really understand why :mellow:. Whatever, I'd love to see it go top 40 officially and avenge the criminal flop of 'Love Me Harder'!

 

Really like your BJSC standouts! 'Somebody' narrowly missed out on points from me while 'Touch', 'Steal My Attention', 'Tide: The Paradox Effect', 'St. Patrick' and 'Avenir' were my top 5! :o

01. Sweet Nothing is one of my favourite songs of all time but I've always been a huge fan, I think she's going to have a 100% top 10 record here.

06. I still like almost everything he produces, really good urban music I think :lol:

09. The album is very good, glad she managed a shock #1 with it actually.

13. Nope, on it's way down now. Got nothing to keep me loving it at the moment.

42. Any top 40 placing would be decent, post-album singles don't seem to be doing too well at the moment.

45. The steel drums are my favourite too, glad it's done well without R1 support even though it would not sound out of place there at all.

01. Hopefully she has something up her sleeve that will have a bit more longevity, although I feel this era is more about the album.

04. Mainly due to me being able to play it on the way to school etc. due to it being released but the BRITs definitely helped! Her top three for me in order from best to third best is Frozen, True Blue, Crazy For You :wub:

13. Would be sad if that happened, only because it's one of his best !

18. Same, hope it makes top 3 next Sunday but any top 10 result will be good.

25. No I don't think so although it might be, CDC entered it into BJSC and it was a huge discovery. It's miles better for me though, definitely check it out!

31. It's stunning, the chants in it are beautiful.

34. I know, it's a shame she never got a chart hit. This is lovely though, nice how it builds.

38. The album is full of good single choices but this is definitely a good one.

39. Indeed, would be funny to see it played on TV.

47. Autopilot is the only other memorable one for me, the album was too forgettable for me.

Excellent #1! I've been anticipating the return of Florence and 'What Kind of Man' ticks a lot of boxes for me. Outstanding video in its own right but the perfect accompaniment to the track (and especially to that chorus :heart:). Very much liking the direction the album seems to be taking.

 

Interesting to see 'Lay Me Down' so high here. How would that rank against the rest of Sam's singles for you? I unexpectedly really liked the sound of it during his BRITs performance, having been indifferent to it previously. Will probably get tired of it soon enough though :drama:. I'd imagine the single choice is highly unlikely to quieten his rampant hate brigade on here given it's not exactly showing a different side to him!

 

Nice to see you supporting our fellow BJSC 65 debutant there with 'Make Me Feel Better' :cheer:! Very happy to see that set to do decently on the official chart.

 

'One Last Time' :wub:. That's been hitting me hard of late and when I try to anayse it, I don't really understand why :mellow:. Whatever, I'd love to see it go top 40 officially and avenge the criminal flop of 'Love Me Harder'!

 

Really like your BJSC standouts! 'Somebody' narrowly missed out on points from me while 'Touch', 'Steal My Attention', 'Tide: The Paradox Effect', 'St. Patrick' and 'Avenir' were my top 5! :o

The video really is stunning, shame she doesn't receive much TV support because it would be nice for everyone to see it. The album seems like it's going to be magnificent, hugely excited for it.

 

For me the order from best to worst would go INTOO, SWM, LMD, LIC, MOMM. He's much better at the ballads in my opinion but everyone else on here seems to disagree. He has a beautiful voice to my ears :lol:

 

I'm sure Make Me Feel Better wasn't this good in BJSC, I liked it and gave it points but it's just beautiful now :lol:

 

Not sure she's going to have any more UK chart hits now from this album :( Love Me Harder sounded huge but just didn't happen.

 

All that similar taste and I still haven't given you points, 73 will hopefully be the time !

What Kind of Man is quite good but in no way up with her best. I personally hope Calvin remixes one of her songs again :kink:

 

Living For Love is great, I actually preferred Give Me All Your Luvin tho :lol: That was a top 3 for me and LFL isn't doing quite so well.

 

Make Me Feel Better is stunning, much prefer it now to when it was entered in bjsc :wub:
