What's the best performance of Dirrty for comparison?

DIRRTY EMAS

Definitely the most difficult round for me, tbh.

Dirrty is my favorite Xtina track :o

I love Dirrty, it's the song that made me an Xtincta fan, but let's be fair: Slave is Slave. No contest there.
Slave is one of my favourite tracks. At least it was at the time it was released. I kinda played it to death at uni. She's smoking hot in that video and the beat is dirty.

At the time 'Slave' was maybe a good 8/10 for me, but it has only continued to get better with age. A solid 11/10 for me now and in my top ten tracks of all time.

Dirrty is an exceptional track and Xtina at her best.

So with STAN shades off Dirrty would have won at the time, but now now. Sorry Chrissy </3

I listened to 'Dirrty' on a retro marathon today and I couldn't believe how much I disliked it :o I appreciate it being iconic for Xtine and being very risky but give me 'Fighter' any day, I find her voice just way too difficult to listen to on 'Dirrty'.

'Slave' however is perfect :D It's really a pity that Urbaney was only really a big presence on two albums. It wouldn't really suit her anymore and I'm very happy Blackout/Circus/Femme Fatale happened but if you look at her album discog:

Album 1 + 2 = Bubblegum

Album 3 = Bubblegum/Urban

Album 4 = Urban/Electronic

Album 5+ = Electropop/Dance

Brit's first 6 albums took her in a lot of different directions, even FF did to some degree with being the first pure dance Brit album, but BJ didn't really (slightly more bubblegum I guess on tracks like 'Perfume'?) and I'm not sure the new album will. I really hope she experiments a bit with her next releases because as much as she does dance brilliantly, I'd like to see her try her hand at more stuff because the occasional "Britney does X genre" songs are among her best imo. That said, not sure what genre she could visit next :P Folktronica?

This is exactly how I feel. I definitely preferred 'Dirrty' at the time of release, but over the years 'Slave' has risen to become one of the very best Britney tracks for me. It's aged a lot better than I ever anticipated on it doing so. I still like 'Dirrty' a lot though, but in comparison to 'Slave', I have to go for R Brit again!

Britney really was the best at TRANSITIONING her career, let's be honest, no one has gone from teen sensation to adult pop star as well as she has. With each album she has fed us something new along with something to get fans of her previous sound on board. She and her team have been genius at cherry picking tracks to ease old fans into new material. See 'Slave' with 'Overprotected', 'MATM' with 'Toxic', etc. Even with 'Blackout', 'Circus' brought back a lot of her old fans back on board with not only her image but also her music. I'd really think she'd be wise to make the single off her next album hit the urban route (yes already with Iggy) and then feed back into a more classic pop track.

This is a close one both good videos and real moments of the early 00's but Slave just sounds timeless ♥️

I just watched the performance again at vmas. I always forget just how amazingly she could dance.

Wowzers.

Dirrty but they're both brilliant!

Dirrty for me, sorry fellow Brit fans! :(

Honesty is always the best policy, my friend!

Voted Dirrty, although both songs are fantastic and are true turning points in their careers.

Dirrty more or less made Christina an icon here in the UK, shame it flopped so badly in the USA. But honestly I think that this is point where people really started taking notice of her, always remember those bottomless chaps.

"I'm A Slave 4 U", again marked another major change in Britney style and sound, shame it doesn't seem so remembered now, but to Britney fans like me, this will hold a special place in my heart. just love it.
