Cannot stand Joel after tonight. The way he spoke down to Jade like that was uncalled for and he has a really weird dislike towards her. I think he was a little bit sly with the Aaron thing too. Something I don't like about him at all and he is definetly my least fave right now.

I feel like a warning would have been more than enough for Aaron. He absolutely crossed a line, but I don't think it warranted being ejected. Harriet was doing plenty of encouraging, and Joel for the most part seemed to be laughing along. It seems especially ridiculous when you consider what other housemates over the years have been able to get away with.

Joel can argue otherwise all he wants, but I personally don't think he is that comfortable with his sexuality and I think that played a large part in this.

That was disgusting behavior by Aaron and it was right to remove him.

Can we also take a second to see how disgusting it is how they didn't eject the likes of Ash, Helen, Connor and Pauline for much much worse?!

flashing your willy is a no no but bullying endlessly is entertaining so keep them in!

Oh please what if Joel was a girl and Aaron a straight man,the whole country would have exploded. You clearly could see Joel was feeling uncomfortable.

This is exactly my thoughts and, on that basis, it was right to remove him.

That was really uncomfortable viewing. Joel wasn't willing it on or anything but Aaron just couldn't resist himself, I think the moment he took it too far was when he dry humped him. Everything else would have been worthy of a warning but Aaron took it one step too far imo. If it was a guy doing it to a woman he'd have been ejected just like that. So BB only did what they thought was necessary.

I don't, however, like how sly Joel was in the diary room after it. Yeah he may have been a bit upset (?) and confused about it all, but with what he was saying to BB it was like he was practically saying "I want him removed" etc... Usually in similar situations the "victim" (for lack of a better word) is at least remorseful and says something like "I know they were only joking, but it was just one step too far, but we'll get over it". That was pretty shitty of him. (Although on BOTS just now he does seem remorseful and apologetic/genuinely gutted about it.)

Also, tbf to Joel, Aaron has been coming on strong a lot lately with a lot of stuff and he just can't help himself. Just leave him be. He appreciates banter, but Aaron needed to know when to stop.

I really hate this quadruple eviction, mostly because it's likely to wipe out most the original female housemates. The twins and Harriet are dead certs to be evicted, and I imagine that Sarah will be next in line. The last one is really unpredictable, but I'm leaning towards Chloe simply because there's always a bias against females on this show. I'm going to throw a few votes Danny's way regardless, since it's probably going to be our only opportunity to get rid of him.

He absolutely should have been removed, definitely the right decision. Once might have been seen as a joke but around 15 times and all the remarks that went along with it. Disgusting behaviour and good riddance to him.

Stating that Joel isn't comfortable with his sexuality has nothing to do with it. It was basically a milder form of sexual abuse and that shouldn't be tolerated whether he was out as gay, a woman, straight or still in the closet. That pays no part in it. We also have no reason to state how he felt in the situation, yes he was smirking but that could have been a defense mechanism. I do not particularly Joel, i find him fake and try-hard but he was certainly the victim there and he has no blame in it at all.

Seriously good riddance to Aaron. If you can't handle your drink, don't drink.

OK other housemates have probably done worse in the past, but two wrongs don't make a right. THEY should have gone too, rather than excusing Aaron for this because the others didn't go.

I think it's ridiculous Aaron has been removed over that tbh it was just a bit of banter that went a little to far all he needed was a warning. A lot worse has happened in that house before and they have not even batted an eyelid.

"a bit of banter"? He repeatedly flashed his cock at someone who clearly stated that he didn't want it to happen, before going on to dry-humping him on the bed and making repeated remarks. Not sure what sort of "banter" you have with your friends, but i don't experience that...

And we all (rightfully) moaned when Big Brother did nothing in those incidents in the past, now they've finally intervened when someone has acted inappropriately and we're saying they shouldn't have done it  Can they ever win? We need to stop comparing this to past incidents and consider it as an isolated case between the two of them this series.

This is spot on IMO, especially that last paragraph - the fact others weren't punished in the past doesn't mean Aaron should get off lightly. They need to make a serious point that this behaviour is unacceptable, drunk or not.

It may have started at banter and if Aaron did it once and left it, the situation would be totally different, but he persisted despite Joel blatantly not being comfortable. I guess the other housemates didn't realise quite how uncomfortable Joel was. By the end of it, it wasn't banter at all and it was just stupidity on Aaron's behalf. Good riddance.

Absolutely right. It is arguable that Joel was a little prudish at the start. However, that doesn't excuse Aaron's continued behaviour. As others have said, if it had been a straight male doing that to a female housemate, there would have been overwhelming support for his eviction. It was obviously the first time Joel had experienced a gay man coming on to him and Aaron should have been mature enough to know when to stop.

Yes but Joel was jonining in on it though as was laughing and joking around with Aaron I'm sure if Joel was a lot more firm with Aaron and told him to firmly stop then he would have. Yes Aaron may have taken a bit to far but it started off as harmless fun that Joel was apart off.

Joel had said himself that he's never experienced that before so didn't have a clue how to react, and I don't blame him, I'd be the exact same. I would agree that it was meant to start as fun, and if Aaron left it after flashing the first time, he wouldn't have been punished at all, I mean Biannca got entirely naked last year and faced no consequences. But the fact he continued to go after Joel despite Joel asking him to stop makes it completely wrong and can't just be dismissed so easily imo.

I don't agree. I think Joel was confronted with something he didn't expect and wasn't prepared for. He is only 19 and I think he was struggling to know how to get Aaron to stop. By climbing into Joel's bed, Aaron went a long way beyond acceptable behaviour.

I feel like he's hating Jade because it's the "in" thing. He really reminds me of those clingy people everyone has in their friendship groups who nobody really likes but they're ALWAYS there anyway! He's not quite my least favourite but I've been feeling like something is off about him for a week or so now. He is so odd towards Jade though, I know she's hardly angel of the house but she's not really done anything towards him and from what I recall we haven't even seen them interact.

As for the Aaron thing, I do think Aaron shouldn't have done that and removing him was right. It would have been uproar if say Nick did that to Jade. I do agree they've been far too lenient in past series though with warnings and ejections. Helen certainly should have been ejected but that's been and gone

Yeah, the right thing was definitely done, I keep seeing people say Joel was enjoying it and playing along, but he quite clearly didn't. The whole "let me find my deodorant" was to try and distract from the whole situation and with the others sniggering, it made things even worse.

Part of me does feel a little sorry for Aaron, obviously not because of his actions which aren't particularly defendable, but I'm more feeling sorry for him because of Harriet - it's very easy when you're in a situation and you think everybody is laughing with you, to keep going and going in order to please them. And the way Harriet kept egging him on continually even when he'd laid down in his bed to stop was making me angry because she actually escalated the situation. He got way too caught up in a moment that was providing laughs and ended up going way too far.

UGH. Sarah has gone down in my estimation SO MUCH just there, she was just about my favourite but her behaviour towards Joel there was plain horrible.

At least I won't be as disappointed when she goes now.
