'See You Again' by Wiz Khalifa is #1 in the US. I wonder what the impact over here would be had it not been made "album only"? Surely a contender for #1 in this particular week, where I imagine sales will be fairly low? Silly decision to make it AO. Should just let it smash/create more hype for the film, although the album is only £5.99 on iTunes...

But why isn't it AO in the US if it is over here? :(

Wiz Khalifa is a lot more popular in the US so I don't think it would be a UK #1 contender with an OA/OS release. Maybe they're going to give it a held back release here as I can't think of why else it would be album only.

Fair play to Stevie, this is the first time The Voice have really properly done the 'winner's single' thing (and it's for an unspecified charity as well!1!!) though I'm still pretty surprised to see him hitting #1. Seems he has a good chance of being the most successful artist to come out of The Voice, which is saying pretty much nothing.

It's weird, it's available as a track in most markets, just not here. Madness if you ask me as it would be at #1. At first I thought they were doing it not to spoil the track, but as it's available in other markets then that's obviously not the case. Just a poor strategy.

If it was released it would be #1 here, I'd bet my house on it. It's the closing song on Furious 7 used during the Paul Walker tribute. The chorus is the killer part, and you would think it was Sam Smith if knew it actually wasn't.

It's also #1 in Australia and New Zealand and #2 in Germany, I think it would definitely be #1 on iTunes (or at least #2 behind the Voice single) and a good shot at the official #1 considering low sales. I'm thinking someone not very informed just made it album only out of standard practice and it'll be quietly reversed within a few days.

1. Stevie McCrorie - Lost Stars (The Voice Performance) 1.0000

2. Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand 0.5791

I think Stevie McCrorie will get the official #1 now, this lead is to big for him to fail to do so.

Wiz Khalifa just too scared to compete with Stevie McCrorie http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png
No its not, its been on sale for less than 24 hours and I suspect his streaming will be very low (if any)

His lack of streaming won't stop him going to #1 with that kind of lead though if he can sustain it all week.

I presume Wiz Khalifa's song is just being held back here, hence why it's being treated differently in the UK (see every other song ever).

But its very unlilkely that he will sustain that all week

Isn't it plain obvious that he won't maintain his lead though, as with every live performance boosting a song?

Anyway, I'm SO happy for Nick  Hope he can be #2 at least !

Thank god for Pep & Rash, I hoped this would climb and now its up to 17 which is a better result so I'm hopeful that a top 20 peak next Sunday is possible!

I kind of want Stevie to hold on to that lead for as long as possible as I would rather Lost Stars or Hold My Hand get to number one over Jealous

Songs like Nick Jonas and the Voice winner taking advantage of the low top end sales in the chart. I cannot see either singles breaking 70k sales and the no1 won't be much more than this. If Carley or Omi released today they'd easily be no1 imo
